Comment:

Nice man, but couldn't stand the class. No powerpoints, just lectures, can be hard to keep up with notes. No structure, didn't follow syllabus, would deviate from lecture a lot. Way too many writing assignments. 2 movie reviews (4 pg each), book essay (6 pages), and research paper (7 pages). Minimum 21 pages wrote between all his papers.

Dr. Lucko is well respected in his field, however, he is a very boring professor. He is old school and doesn't use PowerPoint so be prepared to take notes and write down everything he says. His tests can be difficult if you don't pay attention in class. He took us on two cool field trips to Calloway County Jail and the Kentucky State Penitentiary.

dr. lucko is great, he may be able to make anyone fall asleep but he is a good teacher, i graduated in 06 and still stop by just to say whats up, he didnt assign writing assignments then and he is the easiest teacher on this planet

Dr. Lucko is a decent professor. His classes aren't too difficult. However, he assigns quite a bit of writing assignments (too many) and he is very critical of grammer and using complex sentences. He is sometimes scatterbrained and will often deviate from the script. His tests are fairly easy and there is frequent movie watching in his classes.

very layed back! nice guy! really nice guy!! his classes are kinda boring but i just love him. i hate his papers though because no matter how hard i tried i was never happy with the grades he gaves me-very critical on grammer- but all of his tests are pretty easy no matter which class your in- over all easy and fun!

Very nice and interesting man. Explained things very thoroughly and gave students a break at times as far as due dates go. Knows how to joke around and can be very funny as well! Reasonable and interesting assignments...Smart guy too!

Very boring but can have so much fun in his class. I have had him for 5 classes and we just have a blast with him. We joke with him all the time and he is very helpful and his tests are easy if you do the study guides. He knows his stuff and is a nice guy.

Dr. Lucko is absolutely my favorite teacher on campus. He is extremely understanding and he is qualified in his teaching. He also keeps the class involved by taking you on field trips that help you understand better. He's the best!

Great understanding teacher. Absolutely knows exactly what he is talking about and is more than willing to help. Hard to write like he wants on his essays, but very fair.
