Chef Paul is absolutely a hard ass. It is worth it though. He is very knowledgeable and his lectures are fantastic. You would be silly not to enjoy all the knowledge he has to share if you want to be in the hospitality field. It says something about his teaching to me that his class is very challenging, yet it is my absolute favorite class.

Chef Paul is one of the most egotistical people I have ever met! One night during lab he said "I don't like anyone until they graduate because then they are professionals." He will give you directions then he will forget what he told you and then he will get mad at you for doing what he said. I would avoid this man like the plague.

For being a Hospitality Instructor he is not very hospicable. I had a question about an assignment and he went on a tangent telling me I need to be "responsible." Why would I have e-mailed you if I was "irresponsible?" I was asking questions I was unsure of. He is full of himself, but IS very knowledgeable. I had several encounters with rudeness.

did not like him very much in the beginging of this class, but then i realized he is just trying to be a good teacher not your friend. He is very helpful and you will need to use the things he teaches you. If you dont like this class you probably shouldnt be in this major

Great teacher, as stated before WORLD REVOLVES AROUND HIM, "your other classes don't matter what matters is my class and that is what you should focus on." Doesn't like busy work but sure assigns plenty of it. Great lab though that coincides with this lecture class...

Best chef in the culinary dept. we need more like him. I have learned so much from him. Made my experience at Penn College worth while. He needs to show some of the other chefs how to teach effectivley.
