If you want to be uncomfortable, interrupted and made to feel stupid, then take this class. If you want to hear about his prostate or his pork and beans then take this class. He will tell you his credit score and every other detail about irrelevant topics and has nothing to do with the midterm or final or your speeches. Worst class ever

Mr Orlando is great,hilarious, gives great lectures, feedback & grading is clear. Would take him again w/o a doubt. Some may not like his humor but he tries his best and he truly cares about his students. LOVED HIM! Don't let those who want an A just for attending class deter you from taking his class, you will not regret it. He is AMAZING!

Rambles way too much. Classes end up going over because he does nothing but go off topic. His assignments rarely match what the syllabus says and he changes his mind and forgets things a lot. Really obnoxious, ignorant, and nosy too. His CSS class is easy but I still dreaded going to it because of how aggravating it was.

Fair teacher on grading but he just has no respect for students and length of speech's are not accurate due to interruptions and also forces to be funny its gets old quick.

Mr. Orlando is a super cool guy , loves to tell jokes, gets a tiny bit annoying towards the end of the semester but still an awesome teacher. I couldn't imagine talking in front of people before I took this class but he makes it really easy. Would definitely take again

Class is fairly easy. As mentioned before just come to all the classes and participate in discussions. Don't buy the text he reserves copies in library and only one test on textbook material. 2 graded speeches fairly straight forward and simple. He does play favorites and like to single people out to pick on. Does interrupt like stated by others.

Easy class if you just show up and pretend to be interested in hour after hour of stories about Prof. Orlando's life. If the final exam was on his job, kids, car, stocks, fav. places to eat, political views, charity work, military service or gossip from other classes that he teaches the class would make more sense....

horrible teacher. has no idea who any of his students are. never takes attendance and then at the end of the semester he gives people - points for bad attendance. interupts every speech. his final and midterm have nothing to do with the class. he's awful

He interrupts and distracts every single speech. Then he deducts points if you go over-under minutes even though he is the cause. Story after story and you can tell he makes them up. He criticizes and is rude to students. I would only take this class because it is easy. Just be aware.

easy class. Only 2 speeches to do. Bit arrogant and unfair in grading, he gives extra points and is selective in who he gives point to. Just show up to class give your 2 speeches best you can and participate in feed back of other speeches and you will do fine. Just know he is jerky at times
