Dr. Specht is an absolute gem. Millersville is lucky to have a professor who care so much about his students as well as the program which he chairs. Dr. Specht is an extremely like able and well versed professor who will force you to apply subject knowledge rather than regurgitate it. He is not easy, however, he is extremely reasonable and clear.

Dr. Specht is the best professor. I saved my rate for senior year because I wanted to make sure I wasn't being biased. I have taken plenty of professors at Millersville, and none of them come close to Dr. Specht. He is so passionate about his job, and wants to help you succeed. If you don't pass his class, its because you just didn't try.

Dr. Specht is by far the best professor on this campus. His love for his job is apparent each and every day I speak with him. He is a very kind man who cares deeply for his students. His lectures may be dry at times but you will learn a lot from him if you pay attention. Take him if you can!

He is my favorite professor at Millersville. He loves his students and knows them each well. He is very knowledge able and has many stories to share. He is willing to help his students in any way that he can. I have had him for 3 or 4 classes now and I have loved every single one.

Dr. Specht is the best professor I've had here at MU. He is awesome and enthusiastic about the work he does and know's a lot about safety. I had a night class with him and actually looked forward to going to class(thats never happened before). He really understands his students and is whiling to help. I'm double majoring in OSEH b/c of him!

dr specht is the man. he treats everyone like they are important and seemingly loves his job. his tests can be tricky, but he makes the labs fun. the only way you can fail a class with this guy is if you're a lazy piece of garbage. he'll go out of his way to help you. he's great at his job, and there is no way you can't like this guy.

Dr. Specht is one of the best professors at Millersville. He does often get off track during lectures however you will enjoy taking his class. He does curve most tests and always goes over all material on tests. Very reasonable professor, and often gets the whole class laughing.

Dr. Specht is the man! He has tons of real world experience in the field, so he avoids the who "those who can, do. those who can't, teach" stereotype. Lectures are interesting and interactive. Does go off on tangents during class and doesn't get all material covered, but tests are adjusted for that. Always late to class, but I am too. Takes attendance.

I had Dr. Specht for 120 and 221. He has alot of great information, and class is interesting. He's alittle unorganized, but its understandable when he teaches so many classes. Work load is pretty heavy, alot of reading. Tests arent bad if you study, but if you dont, watch out. He usually gives a very gernerous curve to the tests as well.
