Comment:
This man is terrible. His attitude towards struggling students is disgusting in that he will call them out in front of the class and let the world know that they are struggling. His accent is really thick, and he gets too distracted. Definitely avoid at all costs.

I highly recommend Dr. Wang for any physics class. He can explain the material very well, once you get used to his accent. The tests are usually a bit difficult, but he tells you what to expect and also curves. He is also a very nice guy and is helpful if you need to ask questions.

He does have an accent, and that take a bit to get used to. He doesn't cover the material too quickly, and will go over homework problems in class if need be. He tells you essentially what will be on the tests, although they're hard. he has a curve that has 80%+/-5% and above as an A. He's very helpful and very nice as well. But be prepared to work

His notes are all over the place. Exams: FBBB Final grade: A. The exams are the quizzes and homework problems-Study them well and go into his office hours! You've got to get on his good side to do well. Make study groups with people in the class. They'll be able to relate, and hopefully someone remembers how to do the problem from high school.

Difficult to understand. If there is no possible way to get out of his class my only advice is to read the text book while he teaches, it clarifies things as you go. His quizzes are either examples from the book or homework problems. His tests are all of the previous quizzes you have done for that unit. Catch on to that pattern immediately!

Go to class because he will call you out the next time you show up. Use the book because that's all he uses to explain, no outside examples. Expect C's to F's on every exam. Curve is RIDICULOUS (a 55% is a C). Don't bring your laptop, try to look interested. If you do the work and get the wrong answer, you lose ALL BUT 1 POINT. May God be with you.

Avoid. The worst teacher in history. You will not pass an exam no matter how much you study or how much you try. Basically its a crap shoot to get an answer right. Just avoid this class and you will be fine.

He is really a nice guy if you get to know him...always willing to help out and answer questions...I failed his first test and got a C- on the other two for the class, but I worked hard in labs and on homework, and on the final, so I got a B for his class.........

This class by itself is easy. A professor shouldnt take crap cause a student diddnt pay attention in high school. Keep up with the homework and go to the lectures and you can have a b easy (B starts at a 70%, at a 85%).

This man is evil. NEVER EVER take his class. I thought his reputation was all talk so I ignored it and took him. Boy was I wrong. This man doesn't give you any credit for your work, so if you don't have the correct answer, you've failed his exam. He also gives you too many questions and not enough time to do it in. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!

Do not get on his bad side, if he likes you he will help you out and probably give you a higher grade. He also doesn't give partial credit. Even if you have all the work correct but don't get the final answer -you get zero credit. An 80% is an A in his class, but you have to work really hard to get that A.

Awful Class. First test 31 out of 37 failed. 1 A 2 B's and 3 c's, no D's. Tests are very hard and his grading isn't very fair(he doesn't give much partial credit). Avoid him at all costs.

Accent is horrible. Doesn't know the material he is teaching. Borrows labs from another class. Doesn't have or use any text book so you can't get behind at all.

Very difficult to understand -- even without taking his accent into account. His lectures are hard to follow, but he does his best to assist students outside of class. Labs are the worst, they're recycled from another class so sometimes you haven't even learned the material yet.

I will admit he is the most helpful man on the planet, setting up outside study sessions regularly to help students, but he still can't teach. I especially liked that he skipped town the week of the final and had someone else write and grade it. : - (
