This guy knows his stuff so much that he just walks into class, and talks for the whole lecture. No power points, no structure, nothing. He will write a total of 15 words on the board throughout the class. No test prep. Failed to email me back numerous times. Usually left with 15 pages of notes to study for the test. Goodluck

He's taught this class so many times, it seems like he never needs to look at notes. They way he gives notes is very abstract & w/ no consistency. He'll make a note here & there and expect you to go off of single words. Didn't use the book in class, but use it outside for your own reading. Any test prep is really on you. Wouldn't recommend US POLS.

Dr. Zagorski is an amazing teacher. Yes, his lectures can be monotonous, and I would not advise taking him for U.S. Politics unless you are actually interested in politics andor that is your major. His intelligence level is well beyond a simple gen. ed. course, which is why he greatly excels in upper division courses wheres students actually care.

I sat on the front row, answered most of his questions myself, knew what I was talking about, and still got a B! He doesn't know how to test effectively! His test consists of like 8 questions, but each question has 6 answers. He rolls a die to figure out how many of each question's answers are wrong! You can have all 6 wrong or all but 1 right!

he's nice and brilliant but has no communication skills. He rarely responds to emails. I wanted to take the class but failed a quiz after an absence because I didn't know a reading was assigned- I contacted him 3x prior to the absence and he never told me what to study.

Read the text, go to class, and ask questions. He's more than happy to help with any trouble you might have, and he's incredibly knowledgeable about the subject-- but there's so much work to do that any slacking can make you fall behind very quickly. You HAVE to put in the effort.

It's not Zagorski's fault if people are idiots and don't come ready to roll up their sleeves a bit. I aced several of his classes, and yes it took effort, but he will help you if you if you ask questions and ACTUALLY GO TO CLASS. He knows so much about his course material that he can teach off the top of his head. Take advantage and listen.

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!! The material covered in class is inconsistant with the material presented on the tests. Tests are unnecessarily difficult. The professor is very monotonous and unclear. It seems like he knows the material very well, he just has trouble conveying it to the students. He's not very in touch with the needs of the student. AVOID

oh my goodness, i would advise not taking this class with him unless it is absolutely necessary. his tests are multiple choice - there are twelve questions on the tests and one, none, all, or some of the answers will be right.

I going to be honest-I did not like this class or get anything out of it. He is not a very personable professor, his lectures are boring, and his tests are HARD! Don't ever get your hopes up to leave class early, because he will keep you until the very last minute and sometimes hold you over. On the up side, he is very knowledgable.

Well, I had him for American Gov. during the summer. Got a B in the class, almost an A. He didn't bump me up, but ok. He seemed ok, his class wasn't has hard has it would have been if it was the regular semester, he cut out the essays. Sometimes he wasn't interesting, but I find politics interesting and I hate all of them.
