I took this class during Fall 2018. Best teacher ever. Hes very very easy. No essays. All lecture. Having the book is necessary bc its his own book and its basically fill in the blank notes. For test just review notes and you will be fine. Im selling my soc 300 book on facebook if anyone needs a book still!!

I guess I'm one of those who receives an average grade of C despite taking notes and studying. Simple lectures, but tests/quizzes are not. He's a laid-back guy, but your grade depends on the midterm, 2 quizzes, few short paged papers, and final. He's not an easy A, but definitely an easy pass if you do all the work and turn it in.

This class might be an easy pass but its not an easy A. First of all, dont expect him to read your emails, try meeting with him in person if you need anything. Second of all, only take him if youre ok with getting a grade you cant really control. We had 1 test in the beginning of the year, but due to smoke and being behind, last 2 were last day

it's hard to get out of bed esp for a 9am class but it's doable. your grade is dependent on 3 exams and maybe 1 or 2 extra credit assignments. the book is really expensive but it's helps bc it guides you through his lectures. a con is that you never know what your grade is in the class :( but he's a great and funny teacher!

I love Zisk. His class is super easy as long as you take some notes. Some may do bad on the first test, but the scores do get better with the 2nd and 3rd. The textbook is used for most lecture points, but I barely used it. Just take notes. He tells a lot of stories and is all around a great guy. Don't take this class if you're offended easily.

I loved Zisk's class and hes famous for being such a laid back professor. He's super funny, but also is super wise upon the subjects he's teaching. There's not a lot of homework required but make sure you definitely take notes. His stories always crack me up. He's a real character.

Nice guy but this class puts me to sleep at 730am. We watch some old but important documentaries. His lectures are decent. Tests are difficult, but the food-for-thought papers will help you pass.

Zisk is BY FAR the best professor/teacher I've ever had! His lectures are long and detailed (take notes/get the book) but they go by fast! He's always got a funny story or two put into his lectures that help keep the class engaged.

I first enrolled in Soc 300 at CRC after reading about Zisk on RMP. I loved what I read and was hoping he lived up to what students had written. Sure enough, Zisk was hilarious and had teaching method that not only engaged the entire class, but made it easier to learn the material. I would recommend Zisk to anyone looking for a great teacher.

My favorite professor so far! This is my second time taking one of his classes, I also plan on taking a third next semester. His class is lecture heavy but his personalized textbooks make taking notes a breeze. Also he makes it entertaining by providing hilarious personal stories.

Quite interestingly, this rigorous challenging course created tricky and demanding learning environments through understanding important conceptual goal objectives when relying upon CRC custom textbook edition w/statistics (limited brand),unrelated homework assignments and off-topic informal whiteboard lectures produced low exam scores w/poorPREPS.

This required challenging course for students majors MUST have CRC custom edition textbook (includes statistical data and analysis) and compiled research to learn important concepts, classroom lectures seemed to frequently jump offtopic and there isnt much notes to write down for better exam preparation and completion of homework assignments.

Family and Marriages emphasized specific thoughts and experiences relating to family lifestyle and cultural traditions alongside with marriage customs and practicing religious ritual services with holy festivals had to do with students own livelihoods, thus offensive immature off-topic classroom lectures and autobiographical essay papers existed.

This rigorous challenging course requires paying lots of concentration and focus on CRC bookstore custom textbook material (statistical data, analysis, hypothetical reasoning, modeling representations, graphs and charts, etc.) and classroom lectured discussions lack connecting formal basis with masteringMAIN concepts pertaining to goal objectives.
