Took both mandatory classes - 20c. Architecture History and History of Furniture. Awful classes ever! Lack of information about subject she fills with "discussions". She uses almost the same Power Point presentations for both classes. Obsessed with "Conspicuous Consumption" and "The Chair"... Expect additional reading...

Smart, funny, really compelling in a small seminar setting. She had great ideas and follow-through for group projects and had us keep a reading precis for individual texts. A great teacher and a strong scholar.

I'm sitting in her lecture right now and it's literally one of the most painful experiences of my life. She makes Architectural history feel like death, and an excruciating one at that. Honestly this must violate some sort of law against mandatory torture

What an insightful and real lady...she's teriffic teaching smaller groups, and she's one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. Her class was truly broadening.
