Boring, hard to hear, mispronounces almost everyones name (Amarnda for Amanda) She already has her notes down on paper, and she just reads those. You don't have to read, she usually goes over it in class, but it would help you a lot. Really easy, just make sure you sit in front so you can hear her. Really out of it acts like she always has a stroke

Pfeffer's class is confusing and frustrating. Don't expect her to tell you what she's looking for. Best bet is to go to class and take notes. Tests are random. DO THE READING if you want anything more than a B.

Easy class due to curve on tests. Attendance required for an A. Felt like I was relearning everything from AP US Hist. Repetition of same things got trying at time. Didn't make to Civil War though :-( Not a bad class if you're looking for an easy grade. Be prepared to write well on her short papers though, but that's all you need to worry about.

Pfeffer is a pretty ok professor. You might experience a lot of deja vu in her class since she is very repetitive. Don't be scared by losing points for non-attendance, she usually forgets after a few weeks into the semester. Just make sure you show your face more often than not.

she's a sweet lady, and very nice to talk to, but some lectures can be a little trying at times. generally kinda boring, but if you find the subject interesting, it probably won't be as bad. big curve on tests, a little tougher on papers. if you do the reading and participate sometimes, you're set.

yes she can be boring and she repeats herself a lot but she's a really sweet lady. she does know a lot about history.the class isn't that bad, & it's easy. go over the study guides & you'll do o.k. 3tests,2papers,book sale NO FINAL! if You're a history major take someone else...

The woman loses track often times,maybe because of old age. She is sweet though, and will try to help, she said after the first test that she didnt like to fail so she gave somebody a C-. harsh grader on papers, but tests are relatively easy if you have some general idea of timeframes. Easy A

For a writing intensive it was EXTREMELY easy. Very disappointing for a History prof. Wasn't interesting at all. She does use a good book though. So confusing as to what she expected..on tests, in class, in papers, etc...

A little crazy but class is interesting if you listen. She'll give the same lectures a few times, but shes easy. If you have the notes and do the readings-it's all right. As a writing intensive we only wrote 3 papers-the longest one was 4-6 pages..easy!
