Professor Snyder was a great professor. She was clear and concise on everything and helped the online class by posting videos for clarity. Provides feedback on assignments, and is always willing to answer questions or help during office hours. She will help you learn a lot in the area of Sociology. Enjoyed her class of Ethnic and Race Relations.

Professor Snider is a good teacher, her lectures are interesting and actually effective in teaching you the subject. We wrote a couple of papers but they weren't hard as long as you paid attention in class. She gave us access to the textbook for free. Overall, a good professor. She definitely knows sociology and knows how to teach.

Snyder is definitely one of the best professors I've had. She so witty and nice. I had no interest in soc when I took her, but she made me want to minor in it. As long as you pay attention, study, and participate you'll do great.

Online course - she is very understanding and diverse. Grades you on what you can demonstrate you learned. Because it's an online course, you will need to read the book. Many of the assignments are on a discussion board where everyone can read and interact. Gives great feedback. Must login every week and keep up with assignment to pass.

The BEST professor at Chaffey. Knowledgeable, understanding, and very, very, very fair. If you get a bad grade, it is because you did not try. Does not grade you on grammar. Cares more about if you understand the concepts. Just listen, absorb, and follow directions. The world is a better place with professors like her.

She an individual who truly cares about humanity. Her lessons reflect clear knowledge & understanding of how a society functions. How students are tought to contribute towards a better & fair society is apparent as she uses current events to display sociology. Her compassion towards humanity is respectable. Prof. Snyder is one of those professors that actually cares about their students as long as you put in the effort to try. She has a dry sense of humor which can make her seem a bit bland but she's cool. She gives few assignments but turn them in on time always or you'll struggle. Prof. Snyder is one of the best professors I have ever had. Her curriculum is incredibly relevant to many current events and is interesting and captivates the class. She is very helpful and helped me a ton with the final research paper. The help is there when you need it and she always responds to emails in a timely matter.

She makes the class fun and want to attend. Participation is a MUST. Tests are usually based on questions students propose. She does give extra credit if you can keep a plant alive. Do not miss a class, show up late or leave early as you never know when a pop quiz will happen.

Professor Snyder is an extremely intelligent woman. It shows she's passionate about sociology and that helps make the class more interesting. But look elsewhere for an easy A. You do have to study and put effort into projects, but as long as you do, attend regularly, and ask for help when you need it, there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A.

Willing to work with students if problems arise. Great college class experience, actually learned about sociology which was nice. Would definitely take again, and I highly recomend

Professor Snyder is a tiny woman. She's really laid back with a sort of dry sense of humor. I enjoyed her class. She did a lot of group projects which I did not mind. Homework was pretty easy and she stuck to her syllabus, which was great. I would take her again.

She has a policy that you can e-mail an assignment and then turn it when absent. It's actually you have 2 business days from the day it was due to turn it in, even when it's emailed and you're in and out of drs

Loved Professor Snyder!She makes sure that her students understand the material. After you finish every chapter she ha student comes up with test questions, that you WILL see on the tests. All test are easy; essay questions, fill in the blank and definitions.As long as you attend class regularly and know your material you will do great!
