Really really smart and creative guy. Learned a ton, but not enough, I guess. He does not pull punches and his criticisms often feel like attacks, as they sometimes feel personal. You kind of just have to "get it." He'll tell you what you're doing wrong but gives very little advice on how to fix it. Rough class unless you have thick skin.

Paule has an extremely funny and outgoing personality. He's honest though, and some people took offense to it. Personally though, I appreciated hearing what he had to say, it did help me better understand dance. I never missed one of his classes because I enjoyed it so much.

he's a great teacher and u learn more about how to be open and outgoing in life outside the classroom than u do inside the class. he makes the class a lot of fun but you cant be shy. your final is a 2 minute dance solo in front of the class.

Paule makes you work very hard, he wants you to dance and try, and if you do that you will be fine in the class. Dont be shy. He wants to be seen as intimidating, but in reality he is not a hard grader and genuinely wants everyone to do well in his class, which you will if you show up and give dancing a try. If you do this you will get an A

Do Not take This class if you are expecting to get an easy A. Professor Turner does not play that! Attend his class everyday. When he is teaching a dance to the class if you miss a day he expects you to be caught up as soon as you return to class. He makes you dance alone in front of the class so you cannot be shy in his class at all.

I took a total of 5 classes with this man. He makes you sweat and he works you hard. Very difficult and that's what makes it GREAT! I love it when he calls other people at. He'll call the ladies "girl" because they just don't try and he will go "Listen here girl, you need to shut your mouth and do it"... "Girl what are you doing?! I know that's not dancing" He gives you a backbone just as much as anything. Grow a set and take his class!

This man knows a lot about his subject... you cannot take this class as an easy A - he makes you work... He is always there for help when you need it and you have to respect his "well that's just tough" attitude... Anyone who feels belittled is obviously not mentally tough enough to study with him. You will leave that class better than entering and he will make sure of that. Dance or die trying. If you don't change, he fails, and he won't fail... so all you "girl"s have to stop say
