Dr. Cushman was great. She's not always the clearest, but she will stop and explain anything for you. It seemed as if she had limitless patience. I would definitely recommend her. Also, her class was super easy.

Comment:

Cushman is a very nice teacher. She is flexible with late assignments. She explains things very clearly and assigns useful homework. I rarely attended friday classes and she was still cool. She used to teach kindergarden and she retains the articulate, soft around the edges, teaching style required to teach 5 year olds.

Easy class, I think I got over a 100. Assignments took a few hours max if you actually know how to program, which is more than I can say for some people in my class. Very nice and helpful also.

Despite the horror stories of 240, the class isn't very hard (I never had c++ before this class). Tests are from lectures, uses power point. Programming assinments are often unclear but can be done w/o any major problems. Take if you can.

She is really an ISAT prof and needs to stick to teaching ISAT. Her understanding of computers and programming is a joke. The portions of programs she provides for use always contain errors. Not a hard class, but one of the worst profs in my four years
