Prof. Cassidy make lectures like an open conversation with all students. She sometimes gets off topic but it doesn't affect the class workload. She is very easy to talk to and an extremely easy grader. Would definitely take her again.

Great professor who is just so passionate about her work. It would be impossible to match her enthusiasm for this kind of stuff. Her homework is so easy and her lectures are fun. I'm taking her for my second time this semester and I don't regret it at all.

She's very nice and approachable, i took her class for Media Criticism. Only 2-3 essays, a midterm and final and very easy online quizzes that take a few minutes. She's a very easy grader that clearly lays out what she wants. Lectures might get a little boring at times, but you just have to show up and listen and you can easily get a high grade.

I took her freshman seminar class... She spends class time talking about the same dull subject that she discussed last class and the class before that, she goes on for what feels like hours. You have to write multiple essays but overall her class was a walk in the park (a super boring walk)

There were articles that you would read and take an easy quiz online which you get 3 attempts. This class was interesting but she can get off topic sometimes. She does talk a lot and the majority of class we were watching parts of cartoon shows. I would take her again.

Professor Cassidy is a great and energetic teacher! I enjoy taking her Children, Media and American History class. She is very caring, helpful and understanding. I hope to take a class with her again.

Took her for the first year seminar. She's very nice, but very hyper & has a lot to say. Very easy to understand, & doesn't give many tests. She lets you do test corrections to improve your grade. She mostly gives readings, & there were a few group projects as well.

One of the nicest professors I've had at Adelphi. I loved her class. The readings were relevant to what we were learning. She lets you do tests corrections to improve your grade. The group assignment was okay and the paper wasn't so bad either.

Had her for seminar. Shes extremely chill, and really nice. Very approachable and helpful if need be. She goes off topic in class but everything she says is on moodle pretty much so its no big deal. Shes an extremely fair grader and as long as you put forth some effort you will do well. Id recommend her seminar class to anyone.

Prof. Cassidy is so nice and a pretty easy professor. She grades based on a point system and just doing work (doesn't matter if it's right or wrong) helps you accumulate points. Her syllabus is very thorough, and though there are a LOT OF HANDOUTS ( 40+ pages of reading per class) .. the material is really interesting (cartoons, media, tv shows).

Great teacher, easy grader, very liberal and understanding. She could talk you off the ends of the earth, but at least she is not nasty. She contorts herself ontop of the desk while she lectures the class...must have taken yoga at some point. Great teacher though!!!
