Comment:

Pretty good class, valuable assignments, and projects. In class, lectures drag on though, as long as you follow guidelines projects are easy to get good grades on. The professor is really nice and caring, I would take again.

Perianne was so caring in the class I took this summer. I am taking another class with her in the fall. She's super helpful and makes herself available. Take your 2000 block with her!!! Her only downfall is talking to you like you're a child...

This professor was one of the best professors I have had yet here at OU. She is really caring and values the success of all of her students. This course is interesting, and she does a great job at presenting the content.

She is one of the sweetest teachers I've had. I had her for intro to teacher ed and she made me feel so successful. Towards the end of the semester, she left the text book behind (not that we had even used it in the first place) and focused on our projects. There are multiple projects but none of the work took over an hour. She is absolutely great.

Perianne is hands-down one of the most caring professors at Ohio University. She shows deep passion for Special Education as well as her college students. She is ALWAYS willing to help out and accommodate your needs. She has helped me in more ways than I could ever thank her for.

Perianne is hands down the nicest, most understanding professor I've ever had. She genuinely cares about all of her students and is willing to make accommodations on assignments if needed. If you respect her, she respects you. Class can be repetitive but if you're a special ed major, the class is required. Overall, she's the best.

Comment:

Perianne is kind and really passionate about her subject. Her exams are fair, the three lesson plans are time consuming, the research project and final paper are all fair. The only real issue is that it seems like a significant amount of the work is somewhat unrealistic (e.g. 12 page lesson plans). It contrasts greatly with the field experience.

Loved Perianne!!! She's the best . You do yoga every class period. She gives assignments that are meaningful, like the lesson plans and peer teaching assignment. Overall an amazing class.

she seems like a sweet heart but is kind of a B---- at the same time. she is WAY too happy and treats you like your 5. she spend SO much time on useless busy work. We actually spent the whole 2 hours filling out personality surveys and talking about how we liked to learn... 2 HOURS. we could have spent that time actually talking about our assignmen

Perianne is a professor who talks sweet while being a jerk about things at the same time. She would not explain the assignments she gave us, and she'd often send us important information by email at midnight hours before an assignment is due. She also even singled out a student and made everyone afraid to come to her if they had questions.

You may think that it is hard to hate this woman because she is so cheerful, but she treats her students like they're first graders. I think she is on some sort of "happy" drug be it anti-depressents or something else. This class is painful, but sorry it is a mandatory class for education majors and she is the only one who teaches it.
