Over all he is good at teaching the material, reading the book also helped. He was very rude when I will ask him questions, so I stopped going to him for help. His exams are VERY HARD, be sure to read word for word, and has(A, Both A & B or C&A) as answers which will confuse you. The final exam is not general as he saids!!!!

Bushnell makes this class as easy as an anatomy class can be. He records lectures to post online, so you can skip class and not miss anything. The majority of our grade is based on tests, but he does curve them. This class is difficult, but study as the semester progresses and it's not too terrible. Bushnell does a great job explaining everything

Attendance isn't mandatory, but most of the tests are based on lectures, so you'd be a fool to skip. Sometimes his tests' wording is tricky, but he explains everything really well, and if you study hard and often, you'll learn a lot and do well in the class. I'd definitely take another class with him.

The absolute best professor ever! To pass, study at least a few days, even sooner to pass this hard class. Amazing visuals, he uses real life examples! He is hilarious and very helpful. He actually takes questions during class. I retook this class with him and he awesome! Tests are multiple choice, some writing. Study the slides, and read, record.

This class is not easy. In order to do well you need to put forth the effort. With that being said it isn't impossible to do well. Dr. Bushnell was always willing to answer questions and further explain topics that I was confused about. He really knows the material and has a good sense of humor. I recommend him!

He requires you to buy the book and the online access. The book is somewhat helpful, but we were never once required to use the online access. His exams are horrible. They cover topics that were never discussed in class nor found in the book's chapters.

THIS IS FOR BIOLOGY MAJORS. Obviously if you've already taken molecular this is a cake walk, however, you're going to have a difficult time lowering your biological knowledge back down to this level. That also makes his questions tricky because of everything else you already know and how he always asks these, gray could be 3 dif answers, questions.

Ahhh. P-261.... this class is very hard and you actually hav eto put time in it to pass. I got a 95 % and all I did was record lecture. I never read the book unless he assigned a reading in it or I was unclear about something. This is a hard class but I wouldnt take it with anyone else!

Dr. Bushnell is a great professor. Makes class fun and interesting. But I suggest recording his lectures as mostly everything on the tests are from lecture. Reading the book is useless. You need to study at lot to do well in this class.

Difficult class for almost everyone. You must read and reread your book. Quizzes are over inclass lecture material, while tests are over everything he states, covered by him or not. He makes good illistrations to explain. Study hard!

Sometimes tests on material not covered in class, even a whole chapter on chemistry once, and his tests can be extremely difficult. Lecture is interesting, planned out well, and flows in logical progression(which is very helpful for the type of material covered) He is very open to answer any questions outside of class and has long office hrs

I loved this class! If you like marine Biology and want to here some great stories, this is the place to be. There was alot of information to cover, but nothing overly difficult. He lets you know pretty much everything that could be on the test. Great professor.
