Awesome Professor! He's so helpful and I absolutely loved his class and it was the one I was most excited to attend this semester. Sometimes he yells "nein, nein, nein!" when you mess up but it's more amusing than anything. He's always thrilled about what he's teaching and it shows in class and the material. I would definitely recommend taking him.

Comment:

One of the best language professors in the college. This professor is amazing. He is clearly interested in what he is teaching. He even has office hours in the weekends and before tests to help you out. However, my only issue is his grading policy. Overall, a fantastic German Professor.

A fantastic man. He asks for a lot from you, but what you gain in return is phenomenal. He's a great professor, really clear in explanations, and cares about his students. He's the easiest professor to get a hold of. He even has office hours on weekends, and adds more hours around tests.

A very tough professor and one that expects much from his students, but also a professor who is infinitely helpful. An A in his class is tough to get, but if you do the work/studying that is required you will learn a TON. Very helpful during office hours, and a charming German man.

Cannot recommend him enough. Anyone who is willing to work and wants to learn will get so much from his courses. Enthusiastic, clear, and intelligent. Everyone is right in calling him difficult, but there is no mystery to getting an A with him: do the assignments on time and study exactly what he says to.

His paper grading procedure is very archaeic and it's amazing if you actually figure out what he wants from the first version, you normally have to change the whole thing for the second one . . . he's very intelligent, but needs to learn how to communicate
