Comment:

Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful if you demonstrate a sincere interest in his subject. Definitely worth taking one of his courses if he comes back to teach again (he's on sick leave). He is far from arrogant, no idea what the others are talking about.

Comment:

Tended to be very mean-spirited in lectures. He would get upset with the class for not talking enough during discussions, but as soon as anyone did talk he would berate them for not saying exactly what he'd had in mind. He was a quite lenient grader, though.

Loves learning and teaching- has tons of knowledge and wants to share! Speak up if you're bored, he wants to hear what you have to say, if you don't he could go on for a while. Really nice prof.

He goes off topic quite and bit and yes he is quite arrogant and adept at making people feel foolish. He is knowledgable but not any good at helping other people become so.

Clearly knowledgable on the subject, but seemingly unwilling to actually lecture to demonstrate such, assigned projects that were very unhelpful to the learning process, and arrogant to beat the band.
