Comment:

He is a good professor. Just ask him for help or clarification on assignments and he will have no problem helping you out. He gives some good feedback and he has good knowledge about the field. The class definitely got me out of my comfort zone, but it was definitely worth it.

Peter Hunn. He's a great guy who cares about the material. He's a easy/fair grader and tries to keep the class entertaining. Definitely take this class or any class with this mans. LETS GO PETER HUNNNNNNNN!

Comment:

Hunn is a very nice man and knows a lot about the media industry. Hardest part about the class is the weekly quizzes, but he gives you the questions ahead of time. One final paper that is 9-10 pages along with a final exam and participation. I learned a lot in this class and he is very friendly and caring with his students. Recommended professor

I found it extremely difficult to communicate with him, as he rarely checked Blackboard. I also thought he graded rather harshly and I felt that he was not very clear in his online "lectures." However, I do think that he's a really nice guy and from what I've heard, his in person classes are a breeze. Try NOT to take his online class, if possible.

I took Hunn because I didn't want to take the other professor who was teaching it and I made a very good decision. Yeah, it's a 3 hour class that meets once a week but Hunn makes it interesting. He gives quizzes each class instead of a midterm and he gives the questions at the end of class so you can prepare. Take Hunn for Media Economics!

Prof. Hunn is an amazing human being. This class just wasn't right for him. He wouldn't have enough content to fill the whole 3 hours, he wasn't clear in the content he wanted for the projects assigned. I heard he was a great professor for other classes though.

Hunn is awesome and I definitely plan to take more classes with him. He is the sweetest guy and really cares about his students, you just have to ask him for help or clarification. Very approachable, laid back, and good stories. Really knows a lot about the industry and gives good feedback.

I never thought I would enjoy a 3 hour Monday night class with an old dude, but oddly enough this is my favorite class I've taken in a long time. Professor Hunn manages to make economics more interesting and actually tolerable to listen to for 3 hours straight. I would definitely take any of his classes.

He loves to lecture and tell stories, that's why he is a broadcaster and a professional one at that! Excellent professor, I learned a lot from his classes. He seems easy and is liberal with his grading system, but if you focus and do the assignments, you will realize when time passes how his teachings will help you throughout life and your career

Loves the sound of his own voice. An ex radio broadcaster who quite honestly acts like he knows everything about being on TV - and he doesn't. He does not provide quality feedback however it is very very easy to get an excellent grade. He explains the assignments very easy as well. DO NOT buy the book, its cheap but you will need use it!

Peter Hunn is easily the best professor I have had in Oswego thus far. He is a very nice guy who really knows his stuff and has such a passion for what he does. He's very funny and a very easy grader. So long as you try, you should get a decent grade. The class is not hard and if you are a broadcasting major, you will get a lot out of the class

Absolutely the most kind, respectful, sincere, most dedicated professor. Truly just a positive person in general. Just loves to see students succeed. If you show up and try your best, you'll do very well. Take any class with him you can. It's fun, easy, enjoyable and you actually learn a lot!!

Awesome professor! Really knows his stuff, laid back guy who is an easy grader. A lot of on-camera recordings and stuff you need to put some effort into, but the lowest grade anyone has gotten is like an 85. I dropped an f-bomb on camera and got a 90 on the project. Once a week so it lasts 3 hours, but it's pretty fun once you get into the studio

Awesome professor and great guy! It's very rare for me to give two thumbs up for any professor! However, I would give Prof. Hunn two thumbs up. If you show up and try your best, you can get an easy A. Genuinely cares about his students! Broadcasting majors, if you don't take one of his classes, you are missing out!!

SUCH a nice guy! Extremely helpful and truly cares about his students. I took 229 online with him and he really made it easy to follow. I've also taken production with him, this class tended to be long and boring but it's very easy. Definitely recommend taking a class with him

The professor is really funny, but the class period is long and boring. His assignments are fun, but he tends to say the same thing a hundred times. However, if you are creative and can speak well; it's an easy A!
