Wasn't a fan at first but he came around. Overall a SUPER nice man. But wow, his lectures and clarity SUCKS. He never made assignments clear, and would contradict himself while teaching. Says he wants details for one assignment, but then explains we don't have to give details on the next... just needs consistency. Easy A, just a lot of work.

He picks up phone calls while in class or is constantly walking in and out the classroom due to a phone call which is not professional for a professor but at times he is condescending towards students about using phones. Barely teaches and just reads off his slides. Class is easy to pass if you read and show up but his teaching methods are vague.

Disorganized and is NOT clear as to what he wants done or when assignments are due. Boring & no help out of class, basically just teaches from the slides and lectures about irrelevant things half the time. Never followed the syllabus he handed out himself. Never taking another class with this professor again. It's a easy class but he is helpless.

Prof. Kyem is a really caring and loves his students, he is a great professor. His lectures are interesting and he sometimes puts you on the spot but overall he is a awesome professor if you want to take GEO just for a requirement for your major. Easy class.

Professor Kyem is awesome. He does have an accent but it is not too bad. The class itself was very easy. Because it was a hybrid course, he would make you read his lecture notes he put on blackboard on the day we had off, and would review them in class next time we met in person. Only 2 exams (midterm and final), both of which are very easy.

Professor Kyem is a great professor. Very accommodating and chill. This is a hybrid course so you have take home quizzes on Mondays and lecture on wednesdays. Only two tests - midterm and final. Tests do cover a lot so make sure to read powerpoints and actually do reviews!! The reviews help for a good amount of the exams.

His class is made up of lectures and about 4 exams throughout the whole class, as well as online quizzes. The tests were very easy if you put some time in to study. I loved him so much that I asked him to write a letter of recommendation for me! 100% would take him again!!!

This teacher is unorganized and his lectures add very little. All he does is read from slides that he makes available online. Despite his weak lectures, attendance is mandatory and participation is 5% of your grade. His English isn't the best either and he has an accent. Just another teacher who does the bare minimum.

Doesn't use the book so make sure you go to his lectures. A fun guy but can sometimes get a little boring- he encourages you to tell him though, so he does to keep you interested. Sometimes moves through material too quickly but makes exams easy by telling you exactly what will be on it. Use the study guides!! An easy A.C

Has an accent, sometimes hard to understand. Your grade does not have many things, mostly just the test and online quizzes. The online quizzes do help. His lectures are long and some don't have to do with geography. His test reviews don't help much for the exams.

Teaches from Powerpoints but they are all on Blackboard. Theres occasional online quizzes but usually the answers are right from his lectures. 3 tests but very straight forward and he gives you a study guide. Look that over and fill it out/know it and you'll be fine

Wonderful professor that shares life experiences related to his travel and years in Ghana to help us understand the material. You will have to study hard for exams because half is short answer/essay (bullet points) which require memorization, but they aren't too difficult as long as you study definitions and pros/cons. Not much homework at all.

Great on-line 5 week course, good power points, almost didn't need book. Three tests made up 60% of grade, sends study guides for each one, do them and you will do fine. Practice quizzes, one short assignment, discussion posts and participation make up rest of grade. Great instruction, quick grader and responded rapidly to email.

Great online prof. Took online for a 3 week winter course... Great course to do online during a break. Clear instructions, check in a few times a week and take the tests. Make sure to complete the study guides and label the maps before the tests and you will be good to go. Recommend for those needing a GEOG/History credit. Did not need the book.

Professor Kyem is an open minded individual. He is a nice person and a decent teacher. He gives very little homework and the classes consist of him going over slides of information that he posts online. There are 2 non cumulative tests given during the year. (Midterm and final). Classes are a bit dry though. And he has a strong accent.

He has had a pretty interesting life, he likes to incorporate his life into the class whichmakes the class fairly interesting. He is willing to answer questions and likes for students to be engaged. As long as you do the work for the class (not too much) and pay attention in lectures you should pass easily. Note: his english isn't the greatest.

I am taking this online class. It's a lot of work and I am trying hard to do well. The exams and the quizzes are kind of sometimes off topic which might be difficult at times to find the correct ans. Otherwise a great teacher and helps you out a lot.
