Comment:
You need to earn your grade with Peter, but you'll come out better for it in the end. His requirements for writing and grammar add an extra level to an already complex topic. I can't speak for the undergrads, but he's well suited for a higher level grad course. Give him a shot, you might learn something useful (and pull some hair out along the way)

Easily the best management professor. Lectures are intriguing. He may show a lot of videos and TED talks but he often critiques and disagrees with those talks. Tests are simple: you read the study guide exactly 3 times over and you should get at least an A-

Probably one of the most pointless and boring classes I've taken, you literally watch youtube videos during class then listen to him critique it. Tests are just 100 multiple choice that you have to memorize, so not an easy A. Would not take again.

I like this guy, but damn... Do take his class if fits your schedule. I just wouldn't go out of my way for him, either. He's a great guy and does want you to do well. Be wary of his strict, albeit unclear, expectations and grading. You basically need to fit a 10 page paper into 2 pages double spaced, with only a vague 2 or 3 sentence rubric.

If you are good at memorizing, take this class. Gives you test questions beforehand and picks from the questions he gives. 3 Test 1 Final. Exempt from final if you have an A in the class. Posts everything online, no notes taken in class. If you study the test questions he gives you, its almost impossible not to get an A.

3 tests 1 final, exempt from final if you have an A in the class. Dont take notes he posts them. For tests he posts about 100 questions on the study guide and picks about 80 of them. Just memorize the questions and its an easy A. Going to class is pointless because only grades come from test which he gives you the questions before hand.

Very rude and arrogant! Also, very disrespectful when it comes to talking about your progress in the class. Thinks his opinions are always right. It's his way or the highway. Try to avoid.

He's a really nice guy, though he comes across as a bit aggressive. He doesn't make you take notes and gives you notes online - everything you need to know for the tests is in those notes. You don't need to buy a textbook. There are 3 tests and a paper. I found the tests to be extremely difficult, but the class was interesting.

Doable class if you have the patience for his arrogance and assertive behavior. Extremely neurotic and unnecessarily aggressive, which intimidates the students to even seek help from him. Would only suggest Lorenzi if you want to sit for an hour and 15 minutes doing nothing and then getting A.

Easiest class I took at Loyola thus far. The "lectures" were video clips that lasted the duration of the class with little to no relevance to the course itself. Tests are always MC and involve 0 intellect just memorization. If you don't mind taking a class where you don't retain information, take him. Otherwise, avoid-- he has an AWFUL personality.

Class is interesting & entertaining.Does not take attendance but assigns students to groups who are responsible for policing the attendance of their members. No textbook.Discourages taking notes to increase participation.Posts extensive notes online.Multimedia is a huge aspect. One of the top teachers at Loyola.Read his notes & do practice tests.

Lorenzi is a great guy, his class was very entertainin/easy, and was my favorite class. However there are only 3 grades: 2 tests and a paper...make sure you study the practice tests, and try to attend most if not all classes.

Taught with extreme clarity, but the class was a bit ambiguous at times. Two long research papers determine your grade for the semester, so I hope you are a good writer.

Prof. Lorenzi is extremely helpful when it comes to meeting with you for the big papers in the class. He also provides an awesome foundation to work off of for these papers which really allows you to do well and learn the material really well!(P.S. ladies, if there was a way to put up MULTIPLE chili peppers I would in a heartbeat ;) lolzz)

Professor Lorenzi is a great guy. He is so helpful and willing to meet with you whenever you both can find availability. He also has great response time with emails and feedback regarding papers. This class is a little unstructured and definitely different from a regular OB 201 class, but its enjoyable (when we do meet).

Best class ever. Never a dull moment. No materials to buy. Hundreds of pages of notes, a complete workbook, and dozens of video links, all posted and/or provided. Material is very current, colorful, multimedia. Teacher is 'compassionate' conservative capitalist, big on social enterprise, prosocial leadership and the 'common good'. Good Jesuit fit.

DEFINITELY go to class. There's no reading. No textbook. You learn from his lectures. His points are mainly points of the libertarian party and are correct for the most part. He understands the philosophy of business and understands how the economy works well. He wants you to pay your knowledge further, which I why I wrote this.

Very knowledgeable professor with lots of insightful and interesting things to learn. However, there is no textbook so expect to just be reading notes posted online. There is nothing along the way to assess your understanding of the material until the exam. Your grades are based on 3 assignments that you have little way of preparing for. Not good.
