an embarrassment to Muhlenberg. Poor professor, will not listen to ideas other than his own, unclear expectations. When will he be dismissed?

One of the best teachers I've encountered at Muhlenberg. He is brilliant in religion, but speaks to students at the same level, which is refreshing! Great role model. There is so much you can learn from his lectures, advise, and guidence. I plan on keeping in touch with him after I graduate, for sure! Take one of Dr. Pettit's classes!!!

Comment:
He is a wonderful man, but NOT a great teacher. Just pay attention to everything that he says and always throw back HIS opinions at him on papers and tests. Other than his bad teaching, he's a pretty easy-going man. He is know to give extensions and credit to people who communicate well with him and who are respectful

Readings are impossible but he explains them in class. Have his opinion and you will go far. Argue against his opinion and you are wrong. But a very good professor and a very nice guy. I learned a lot.
