I am a very hard working student, and I am blessed that history is one of my natural skills. Some of these rates are a tad extreme. He is a very sweet, older man who has a lot to say. He gives fact sheets and a vocabulary list. If you read over the fact sheets and try to know the vocabulary words youll do well. Dont be lazy!

If youre expecting an easy class with clarity in what is taught, do not take this class. He lectures heavily and the test format is extremely confusing. He gives fact sheets but doesnt tell exactly what to study for. If you take this class good luck.

Okay, first it's a 400 level class, so it isn't going to be easy. Dr. Robinson has lived through literally everything he teaches, so he gives an awesome personal perspective to the class. HE WILL GO BY THE BOOK HE ASSIGNS. The book is his personal choice, so it's not a textbook but a real book. GIVES TONS OF HANDOUTS. Go by these handouts when you study.

All he does is talk and talk some more. He does give handouts. Always had a hard time staying awake. He seems like a great guy but is really boring. He can also get of the subject and talk about students he had 10 years ago. If you are good at history already you have a chance, but you really have to work for a good grade. The test are hard!

Wouldn't ever recommend taking him ever again!!! He doesn't have notes to study by or write anything in the board. It is pure lecture with nothing to study for test on. I had to drop his class. Worst teacher ever.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! I come to class everyday and I have yet to learn a single thing. He doesn't care about the students learning. If you care about your GPA then I would NOT recommend taking this class at all. If you do end up getting stuck with this class, you're better off dropping it at the beginning of the semester.

Dr. Robinson gives very entertaining lectures. Yes he gets off topic and his exams are very, very challenging but it is suppose to be in a 400 level history course. You can make an A in the class and on all his test, you just really have to study! You cannot simply look at the material the night before. You have to work for a grade in his class.

I would NOT suggest taking him, especially if you are a first year. He gets off of subject, rambles, isn't clear, and doesn't go over key notes that are on the tests. He doesn't give out study-guides, although most of the notes he hands out are typed. He docks points on tests like crazy for very small reasons.

lets start with this i love history, i could get off to history that is how much i like it, I can talk for hours about it. Ok this guys class don't take it unless you just absolutely have to and don't care about your GPA. his lectures are boring and his tests are impossible, he asks questions about things that are not in the book or lecture.

Nice guy but the hardest teacher I have ever had. Attended class everyday, took pages of notes, read & studied like crazy! He grades very very hard. I am not exactly sure what he is looking for. Don't take him. Not because he is a bad teacher, but because I am not sure anyone has, can, or will ever pass his class with anything higher that a C. =(

Possibly the worst and hardest teacher I've ever had, and its history, I've learned these same things 10 times before this class and I could not pass. I took HY 202 again with Dr. Lauderbaugh and passed with flying colors!
