WORST TEACHER!! I can't stand going to his class. SO boring. He knows his stuff but he just isn't good at teaching it. If you get a chance to have some one-on-one with him, he'll help you, but in the classroom I gain nothing.

This was the worst class of my life. I am retaking Math112 with a new teacher and it's like a whole new subject matter. All Dr. Ryan would talk about was going to Publix to go and get chocolate chip cookies... very useful. During the final he left for 20 minutes to go to the break room and came back with a plate full of cookies... absurd.

i rated this professor before he deffinitely sucks as a professor but if you talk to him and act like your interested in doin good he WILL pass you i failed every test with a 50 or lower never did the assignments nd failed the mid term nd final nd i barely ever came to class nd i passed wyth a C...my advice get on his good side =)

Tests are very difficult. Neither the notes from class, examples from text, nor practice problems posted to Blackboard are any help for the exam. First two exams couldn't even be finished within allotted time frame. He has office hours, but I felt more confused after wards than before hand. His sidebar stories do not relate to the class at all!

Extremly difficult, his tests were some of the hardest I have ever had, made me dis-like math, Hey tends to go off on tangents that are pointless, and he lectures the entire class period, even when you go to him for help you leave more confused then you were before

im taking him now..hes not a bad teacher, he jsut requires that you show up to class and take notes..its not that hard. he will teach you everything you need to know, it will just take some effort on your part to learn the material, overall he is a really good teacher

I strongly dislike Prof. Ryan. He is unfair in his grading and hardly ever assigns homework out of the book and His tests are hard. I had to basically teach myself the material and go to the tutors for help and i still got answers wrong on my homework and test.

If you want to fail at math this class is for u. It's hard and half the time you dont get a word he's saying unless you basically teach it to yourself. I used to love Math untill I was in Ryan's class and ended up with a D. I tried so hard. His test are crazy because you have no idea what to study for b/c he doesnt give homework. Dont take him!
