SUCH a NICE guy- and loves teaching!! If you just study the slides you can make at least an 80%. Test come straight from the lecture/slides but he gives some side notes in class that will be super helpful for the exam!! HE has 5 Test (including the final) that are 60-80 questions. If you want to actually learn something, this is the class for you!!

Want the light of your soul extinguished? Take Peter Stanwick. He only reads off PowerPoint slides during class, he never responds to emails, and you have to do a 40-page group project and presentation instead of CapSim. There are 4 exams, the project, and a final. Only pro: you can skip class and study PowerPoints and still do well.

His tests are all essay and very long and he wrote the book so you have to buy it. Also you have to read the cases from the book and he quizzes you on them randomly (keeps 5 of 8). I took the class as a major elective and it was a ton of work.

One of the best teachers I've had at Auburn. Is very engaging and makes lectures easy to listen to. Doesn't go off on tangents and babble about stuff that is too in depth. 90% of information for test comes off PP slides, the rest usually comes from extra stuff he lectures about in class or from videos. He's very easy to talk to and he cares

By far one of the easiest classes I have taken at Auburn. Tests come directly from the slides he posts on Canvas, and even lets the class know which slides are "important," so don't buy the textbook. He also gave two extra credit opportunities! Take him!

Stanwick is as nice as they come, he knows what he is talking about, and he is actually quite funny. I thought the wording on his tess was, at times, more difficult than it needed to be, but he adds a 5-10 point curve. I went to class, listened to lectures, never opened a book and got a 96 overall. It's a very manageable class - I reccommend it.

Class consists of slides only that he posts online, which are all outdated by many years, making them irrelevant. Do yourself a favor and don't go, it doesn't help. Scales about 10 points a test.

Stanwick is a really nice guy. He tells you which slides are important for the tests, and he scales all tests generously! Go to class, study the slides and you will do fine.

Dr. Stanwick was a great teacher. He tells you which slides are important, and those are what the test questions come from. You do have to study and go to class, but he is willing to help and scales a lot. Go to class, study the important slides, and you will do fine!

i liked going to class to hear his lectures b/c he always said something goofy and funny. plus, he tells you which slides you should know for the test. if he gives you the definition of a mngt word and it isn't on the slides, WRITE IT DOWN b/c he'll probably put it on the test. he also scales them a lot, so i would focus more on the capsim stuff.

Seems like a nice guy, the class was boring, but I recommend going b/c he tells you which slides are important. Some of the questions on the test however are not in the sildes but he does scale generously if the class does bad. If you put forth some effort you should at least make a B; do his extra credit and you can make an A.

He tried hard to make this class fun! Capsim simulations were a little difficult but more busy work. Excellent teacher, although he goes fast through the slides, and when he mentions something is important definately know it because it will be on the test. He scales if the class has a bad test avg. Take him he is GREAT!

Was scared of this class after reading other reviews, but this turned out to be my favorite class! I thought it was both interesting & entertaining. Even though attendence is pretty much optional I would go bc he tells which slides are important for the test. Scaled all tests and gave enough bonus to total 13pts added to overall AVG!

you dont need the book and the test are off the note print outs. Yes the tests are a little harder but you are old enough to study not to mention he gives so many extra credit and scales at least 8 pts on every exam. The business simulation part is just a bunch of busy work but not hard. He even let me re-take a test that I shouldn't have missed!

I don't know why in the world this man is teaching. I could have done a better job without a Ph.D. We literally ran through the slides and was out the door in 30 min of the 1 hour and 30 min class. Crazy! Then, the examples he uses in class do not matter, cause all he does is go to the test bank and creates the test. AVOID HIM IF ALL POSSIBLE!!!

TOTAL LOSER. He flies through the slides, and only used 1/4 of the class time to teach. That may sound appealing, but when it comes down to exam time and ALL of the info is straight from the book, it stinks. He's a tacky dresser, he coughes something nasty all the time, and the sound of his voice makes me want to sew my ears shut. STAY AWAY!!!

These people are whiners. I feel bad for him cause nobody seems to care and those are the ones who complain about the tests being hard. Go to class some, print the slides off, do the simulation... pretty basic stuff for a senior.

Feel a little bad for the guy because most people don't come to class. He does give lots of extra credit opportunities. I didn't buy the book, so that might have helped! He had questions on the exams that weren't in the slides or discussed in lecture. Not helpful outside of class--he never even emailed me back.

This guy is by far the most hearless jerk I have ever had for a teacher. DO NOT TAKE HIM...If you have to, read the book and do the extra credit he gives towards the end of the semester (its your only hope).
