Dr. Wade is a very good and fair instructor. Sometimes, however, he does not explain fully the logic behind a particular thing - just tells to memorize strong, weak reducing agents, etc. But overall, I learned a lot in his class.

He is an extremely difficult teacher, although he curves the grades a little bit. Sometimes it felt like we were tested on subjects too soon after learning them, and if he gave another week for it to sink in the tests would be more manageable. He goes very fast, and puts the lectures online. DO THE HOMEWORK PROBLEMS!!!

A great professor. He cares for his students and will stay extra during weekly organic work problem sessions. Really helped, very clear with his powerpoints. MAKE sure to answer your weekly assigned textbook problems and check the answers to them. Didn't do this in the beginning and is probably the main reason why my grades improved drastically.
