Comment:

Very repetitive, but I did learn some things. A few years ago this may have been an easy class, but Woll now takes attendance and he uses a TA to grade assignments (who can be quite picky). He is an extremely friendly teacher though!

Woll is by far one of the sweetest professors at Brandeis. He does go off topic but he is so knowledgeable and funny! If you go to class and pay attention at the review sessions before the midterm and final you will get an A. He also loves if you speak in class or email him! Highly recommend.

I took Con Law. Woll is very nice and it's definitely and easy class. The readings are good and the class goes slowly so you learn and remember everything. He's available for help in office hours. Class gets repetitive but if you stay focused you can retain a lot. straightforward midterm and final.

Basically you have to be in a coma to not get an A in this guy's class. I have taken two of his classes and have literally gone to 7 lectures combined for both classes, yet recieved A's in both of them. Read the power points and maybe the books. Nice guy, knowledgable, horrible lecturer.

woll's intro to american gov lectures are available online along with his powerpoint presentations, making it difficult to get out of bed and listen to him speak for an hour. on top of that, while he is very educated on the history of american government, he seems to have trouble expressing it in an interesting way.
