He's awesome! Follows very closely with the texts. You need to study because his tests are hard if you don't. Very HARD marker, so make sure your grammar is perfect; especially for essays. He's very helpful when you have problems, easy to approach. People have said he plays favourites but I don't believe that. This class is hard work so be prepared

He picks favorites, mainly the students he may have had previous classes with or those with good french already.If you are not a favorite and don't have a chance of being a favorite, may not be worth the hit your gpa will take. He IS passionate about what he teaches, but he'll overlook you and most of your comments if you don't meet HIS 'standard'

He's not a bad prof, but when he missed class, Prof. Vialard substituted and I would rather have had her as my professor. If you have a choice between the two, take Vialard's class, but Clark wasn't bad.
