By far a poor excuse for a psychology professor. He uses his classes (which are psychology class) to promote his liberal views and when confronted with debate lacks solid evidence to back up his argument. Stick to psychology.

If you are a straight A student, be prepared to NOT receive an A with Finney. Rude and arrogant, and his tests are unreal. Stay away from his classes, they will ruin your GPA even if you're a good student.

The class is hard, but do-able. I only got a B because I never talked in class. He prints out an outline with notes, but take extra in class because he has notes on topics not in the book, and read the textbook before the exam; the exam will have obscure questions from the book as well. He is enthusiastic about his field and has experience.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! He is not helpful at all, and made the class way harder than it needed to be. His tests were near to impossible. The class was way too hard for being a Universal Studies Course. I ended up making a C in the class, and I had to work my butt off to even get that grade!

I had him for an online class, and he was extremely rude! The portal made an error two weeks in a row not allowing you to log onto your courses to get to the website. He ended up not letting you make up these points, and so my grade reflected those 2 weeks I wasn't given the chance to make up. Insufficient emails recieved too.

One of the worst profs at SEMO-Has little regard for how well students perform & gets irritated when students voice valid complaints. Gave an assignment that required listing bad qualities in students, yet gets VERY offended when students voice complaints about profs. Talks about Nascar&quilting too much. Notes help little for his tests!-AVOID HIM

It's not too incredibly hard, but he definitely keeps you on your toes. Tests are very difficult, but he gives little points here and there, and his grading scale is lower than most other classes to make up for it.

This is a very rude person. He dosen't like to help the student at all. I took his class on line every time I emailed him he said i had an attitude. he doesn't tell you what you missed on a test or what was wrong on your home work, Avoid him if you can. I'm an older student I have no reason to lie. But this guy is a waste of money.

Took as an online class. He gives WAY too much work for the week. Grades really hard, tests are difficult. He gives one minute a question, and the questions are always the most obscure detail in the book. I have A's in all of my other classes, and a D in his. I wouldn't recommend taking this class online.

I really liked him. He is very interesting to listen to and intelligent. Lots of online work, but the tests aren't bad.
