Mr. Holleran is by far a GREAT professor. I would take him again for any business or Marketing classes. Grading is clear, not too tough. 1 TIMED quiz a week, 1 case study a week, 3-4 tests a semester. Nothing too much. He gives great feedback to tests and quizzes grades.

Mr. Holleran is a very good professor, but I found his Public Finance class to be difficult. The weekly assignments were long and very time consuming and highly repetitive. He is still very helpful and tries to make the material easy to understand, but this class with him was harder than the intro class I took with him.

He is probably the best teacher I've had at RU so far. I thought I would hate Econ, but he made me love it! He gives a quiz every week which can be annoying, but it helps sooo much when it comes to studying for tests. TAKE HIM!

I really enjoyed this class, but it's a lot harder than his intro courses. He does do a good job of explaining everything, but sometimes it seems like he's just repeating the same thing for a whole class. He NEVER lets class out early!

Best Econ teacher @ RU...best professor I've had at Radford- Extremely knowledgable, clear, concise and interesting. If you go through the economics program at Radford and never have him you will have missed out. Steady flow of work, but gives many oppurtunities to do well. "ILL-Phil" is the man!-(plus his eyes are always closed cuz he's that cool)

Phil Holleran is an awsome teacher! He makes the class so easy and interesting! Go to class and do his reviews! He puts all the info for the tests and quizes in front of you, you just have to take advantage of that! He's an awsome prof! I love his class, and if I was an econ major, I'd definitely take him as many times as I could. He's GREAT!!

Without a doubt the best professor i've ever had. He is very organizated and is far from boring. When I had trouble with tests, i visited his office and he was very glad to help. Plus, he gets the class involved. He gives one quiz a week. Just do the review questions for preparation. They are not bad, just read the notes.

This guy is money...He is without a doubt the best teacher I have ever had. His knowledge and teaching style are perfect. I Hated econ after taking Ojomo but this guy actually made it interesting to listen to. He has one easy quiz a week, 3-4 Exams and 5 easy papers. Take him if you have the chance

He is one of the best professors at RU. I learned more in his class than in all of my other econ classes combined. He cares about students, explains things until everyone understands, and is very interesting. I highly recommend this teacher. He is GREAT!!!!!!!!

Mr Holleran is also the reason I became an Econ Major. He truly cares about his students and will breakdown the most empirical studies to thier basic result. Truly a kind professor and uses a variety of teaching methods to get his point accross. I have a crush on the man- for the past three years.

I recently transferred to VA Tech from Radford. No professor from either school has compared to this guy. He was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I wish I would invite him to teach here, because the Econ department sucks.
