Only gives lectures based vaguely from the textbook and then tests on the textbook despite it being optional. He is not accessible outside of class and answers questions poorly. Those who do well in the class are those who have extensive biology background so that they do not need his teaching. Would recommend anyone but him.

The essay questions on the 3 exams were taken directly from the homework. When grading the homework he left interesting notes and tidbits to add to the lesson. This was super helpful in the online format since there was no formal lecture. Only complaint is he stopped grading halfway through the semester and played catch up after the final exam.

One of the best professors I've had in my college career, and I'm an IT major. I had zero interest in natural sciences but it was required for my degree. He was able to be engaging and helpful just by his comments on weekly assignments. Prompt grader, if you miss something he tells you why and not just marking it wrong. I could write a ton more!

I'm currently taking BIO120A online with Prof. Jensen. He is a very fair with his grading and I am enjoying his class thus far. I'm not even a BIO major and the only exposure was in high school. He has a passion for his work and is shows through his comments in the assignments. Though BIO is tough (bc its not my forte) I think I'm on my way to an A

Great professor! Super helpful and very complete lecture notes. All the answers for assignments and tests are in the notes. Impossible to not make an A if you pay attention.
