Such a funny professor who really helps you understand the material. Definitely passionate about his work, and knows how to be relatable to college students. The class isn't hard, and I don't think the tests are either. There are 3 tests in total and a mandatory CEP program that is 10% of your grade. He has his own website with the powerpoints.

Phil is the man! He goes everything thoroughly. Super smart, yet realized that our class was an intro class, so we weren't lost in what we were learning. No textbook required. Gives study guides before exams. Study that and you're guaranteed an A. He's hilarious and just really easy going. If I could take him again I would in a heartbeat.

Definitely easy to slack off because of his personality and his deep desire to have his students do well. But he can be a pretty tough grader, but its fair. Definitely expects participation. Definitely a professor someone should take at least once, though.

Love this guy. Totally chill. Really easy to do well in class. Just pay attention, take good notes, take advantage of his study guides. Always willing to help. Uses internet sources to teach sometimes, but all the more gets the point through. Probably never had to open the textbook either.

decent guy. kinda funny. a little moody at times. a little wierd. good lecturer. he genuinely wants to see his students do well. show up at his office hours, even if you don't really have a question, it will boost your grade. if you do have a question, prepare to be insulted. he's really not a bad guy though.

Where is the love for Schatz? I learned SO much in his class (and in Issues in Clin Psych). Tough grader but is fair. Wants to help and begs you to come to office hours, so it was on me when I didn't. Great prof, one of the best I have had.
