Dr. Norwood is extremely old fashioned. He will not accept online sources for information papers and makes you go to the library for information?? He uses absolutely zero technology in class, and talks at you the entire time. When he gives assignments, he gives minimal guidelines and then takes points off when you don't do what he wants.

Dr. Norwood is an amazing professor. He is willing to help anyone who asks for it and will meet you half way you just have to be willing to put in the work. His lectures are informative but also funny because of all his stories and rants. I would take his class for the rest of my life if I could. By far my favorite professor at High Point!

One of best teachers at High Point. Fair, and very understanding. Had him for two classes in same semester, I'd recommend him to anyone. Great guy and awesome professor.

Philosophy 2043: Dr. Norwood was an amazing teacher! He was by far the funniest professor I've ever had. There is a decent amount of work, but it's spread out throughout the semester so there is plenty of time to complete it all. I would take his class again anytime!

I don't remember the corse number, but I had him from Business Ethics. He is a really good professor, if you study you will pass his class. Reading the book is extremely important but he did a review before each of our tests and he has an SI who also does a review. He is always willing to help anyone who needs extra help. Such a sweet man

He's a funny old man. He has a dry sense of humor and can be cynical at times about the university, but he's funny and wants students to succeed. He will not mention his beliefs in class, but shares all views and theories so students can decide what they believe. I loved his religion class and would take him again in a heartbeat.

I don't remember the exact class number cause it was last year, but Dr. Norwood has easily been my favorite professor throughout my 3 years here so far. He worked with me whenever I needed help, and genuinely wanted me to succeed. I wasnt looking forward to the class, but he made me genuinely like it. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any class.

He was the best! Such a helpful professor and he literally told you everything that was going to be on the test. Very genuine and passionate about his teaching. A fair amount of work, but just exams and 2 papers, not quizzes or other assignments. Good class.

He's a rambler and class attendance really isnt necessary but if you ask/answer questions youll get easy participation grades. He requires very indepth papers submission were talking 6-10 papers for your research and final. His TA is awesome.go to the sessions before the test and take notes from that. You'll pass the test from those sessions alone.

He is one of the best professors I have ever had! His lectures were interesting. If you pay attention and take notes you will succeed in the class. He does not let his opinion get in the way of his teaching. I strongly advise you to take his class!!! His tests are straight forward and not difficult.

Professor Norwood is one of the goodies at HPU. Its not everyday you find a professor that will go out of his way to help the individual, as long as he/she shows an interest/desire to learn and improve. If you listen, you will learn--if you zone out-you'll perform poorly. Theres no reason one can't succeed in his classes. Straightforward & helpful
