Hands down the smartest professor you will come across. Knows his stuff inside out. Creates his own problems, so homework problems can be difficult. Attendance is not mandatory but if you wanna get a B or better you HAVE to go to his class! A very likable person and good to talk to.

Homework is complete crap. Nothing like the example he gives. I've spent to many hours to count on just his homework alone and receive only particle credit. Terrible with helping. Doesn't care if you fail. Worst professor in my college career so far. DO NOT TAKE unless you have to!

Nice guy when you talk to him, but is terribly inconsistent when grading homework and just reads the book back to you and makes to attend class. He also missed my attendance a few times, I never missed class and it was enough to bring my grade down.

Very tough professor. However, he is always willing to help a student. Will cut a lecture short to meet with time constraints. Lab and lecture are mandatory. Lab portion of the exam is insane. Most students agreed there was nowhere near enough time Learn to work very quickly. Despite this, one of the best professors a student could ask for

P White is by far the best teacher UT has to offer. He has his own comprehensive notes that going far beyond the book, re deriving equations, or simply telling why the book omits things. The class is difficult but if you want to know real world examples this guy has one for every situation you encounter either in hw or theory behind stuff

He is as helpful as his tests are difficult, very. Any class he teaches is well presented. You will end up taking at least one class with Dr. White. As far as bang for your buck goes best professor at Toledo. You will hate Dr. White if your attitude is Dâ??s get degrees, love him if you want to learn the material

Very tough teacher, but knows this class like the back of his hand. Makes his own notes for the class that are really helpful when trying to do the homework. Tests in my opinion were too long and somewhat difficult, but he can convey the material like no other. Overall he is a really good prof.

VERY tough teacher, assumes that students should be able to learn 100% of everything just by reading book. Class was very hard, you MUST keep up with every bit of work. Wouldn't call him a bad teacher, just one that your high school teachers all warned you about: doesn't care how much you have on your plate.

White will cancel class because of a little color problem on the projector. He will cut off on notes to follow time constraints, and usually spends more time trying to figure out things for himself instead of for his students. He is a terrible teacher, plain and simple.

Had him in the summer. Will sacrifice learning for time constraints. In-class example are hard, HW is hard, tests are extremely hard, not impossible, but close to it. he takes attendance for 5%. HW is daily. best advice is to go to class, but make study groups with friends and read the book. always coord system, FBD, KD, Eq. of Motion on tests.
