Loved every minute of class with this professor. Expectations were clearly outlined, however, you have to give it your all if you want a good grade. Pay attention, do the homework, show up on time and prepared and you will do well. The professor is easy to approach and very helpful if you need it.

Do not miss class, show up late, or come unprepared. If you put in the effort you will do well. She met with students one-to-one to review speeches prior to presentation and gave good feedback. Assignments and expectations were clear. Other students found different professors to be just as challenging as some were retaking the class again.

I took this class so I could get the Communication credits I needed. I barely got any help, except maybe once or twice. She doesn't respond to your emails when you need help and it made it really hard for me to pass. The speech outlines were really difficult to understand and there was too much homework for me to do in a 7 week period.

I agreed with you all she can be VERY judgmental of students when they are trying their hardest. If you are on her good side, you are lucky but if for some reason she doesn't like you (there is no rhyme or reason to how she chooses) good luck, she can be very rude. Instructions were not really clear and last min, especially for persuasive speech.

I would never take any of her classes again. I was lucky enough to get an A in her class however, she can be VERY judgmental of students when they are trying their hardest. I attended this class as a retired US Army Staff Sergeant, looking to ease my way in the "college experience." What I got instead for a patronizing experience, where the Professor continuously degraded my experiences and had me complete ridiculous projects on how to balance budgets and leadership training. Nice lady, but not a lot of common sense.

Great Communications teacher. She can be fun, yet professional. Occasionally cracks jokes. She strives to make you professional as well. Attend class and don't say the word"like" too often during a speech. It is her pet peve. It also makes you sound like stupid.

Was pretty good overall. Instructions were not really clear towards the end of the semester on the persuasive speech. The entire class didn't do well on it. We were all weak in the same area (citations). So if you take her class be sure to specifically say according to... or so-and-so said...
