Comment:
Pierre is definitely the worst programming professor I've ever met. He will say he has 'special projects' for students who think they are advanced in programming. In other words he has projects he dreams up as a way to make money and he wants a student to do all the work for him. Don't fall for his tricks.

Good professor. Doesn't take attendance, labs aren't too difficult and exams are based on the labs. Teaches with slides so you don't have to buy the book. His explanations are mostly clear. Expects you to pay attention and might call you out if you get distracted. Would take him again.

Pierre is the man. He's super relaxed, laid back, helpful, funny and knows his stuff.. If you slack off in his class and make paper airplanes he's going to call you out and not take you seriously. If you talk to him, try to do work and ask questions, he'll respect that and be sure to take care of you when grading comes. One of Wentworth's best.

He teaches a great class everything you need to know he says in class. If you do not show up or pay attention he will call you out! he wants people to do well and if you want to blow off his class thats on you and you will feel the heat later. GREAT CLASS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pierre knows what hes talking about. However he does not have the skills to express himself to the class. Hes frequently late and almost always ends class early. Learning came from other students who knew what they were talking about rather than pierre himself. Pierre chose to tell us more about his personal achievements rather than programming C++

Great class, Very easy to learn, he has an accent but that does not effect a students understanding whatsoever. Obviously, you need to do the work and pay attention in class, or you wont get it, its programming after all. -To the kids that dont like his accent...get used to it, thats life, people have accents, pay attention and stop complaining.

He is a great teacher that always makes sure you understand the material, all you have to do is ask. Before you complain, make sure you have a valid reason.

Not very much help, teaches concepts but not practice, and assigns for things you haven't learned yet.

If you know your stuff you'll probably do fine, because the class isn't actually all that difficult. He's totally unhelpful though. I once visited him at his office to ask for help on an important project, and instead of helping me, he insulted me for not being very far into the assignment. He's also got an accent and overuses Powerpoint. Avoid.

He knows the material, but his Haitian accet makes it a bit difficult to understand him. He does go over material pretty slowly, and everything he says is in the book, so if you miss anything it's easy to catch up. Overall, a pretty good teacher, and not a bad class. p.s. do NOT buy the lab book, we never used it...

Pierre knows his stuff but has trouble explaining it since his english is not the best. Labs are easy and rarely collected unless you opt to pass it in. tests are very easy and it is an overall easy class. took him for network services and looking forward to taking him for java
