I took Energy in Society not knowing it's mostly physics but i somehow passes. I am horrible at physics BUT professor Ricatto is one of the sweetest professors I have had. He wants you to pass more than anything and is constantly willing to help. Hard class, but this proessor is super sweet.

Overall good. You don't need the textbook, just study the notes he prepares for you online & in class. You'll be expected to keep a lab journal and do a service project at the end of the semester, in addition to a few essays. He is often disorganized & rushed, and his lectures can drag on, made more annoying by the occasional nerdy laugh he does.

He told us to get the book in the beginning of the semester, but I never even opened it. Everything you need to know for the tests are in his lectures so pay close attention. He's very helpful if you don't understand something. He really likes attendance and participation and will grade accordingly for that.

HIS LECTURES ARE SO CLEAR PLUS THE LABS, GIVES NOTES AND HE EXPLAINS VERY WELL.. MAKES CHEMISTRY LOOK SO EASY. HE GIVES A QUIZ EVERY WEEK WITH A REVIEW ON THE QUIZ WHICH IS HELPFULL. FOUR TEST WITH A REVIEW ON EACH. HE IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP YOU IF YOU ARE FAILING. DON'T MISS CLASS AS YOU WILL MISS A LOT OF INFORMATION. TAKE HIM , WON'T REGRAT.

I went into this class afraid of failure because chemistry has always been a difficult subject for me. I now have a different outlook on chemistry because of him. He teaches chemistry in a way that you can understand perfectly. He is by far one of the best professors in BCC. Take him if you get the chance!

This guy is an amazing professor. Seriously. Prior to this class I failed Chemistry twice, and it wasn't my favorite subject. I was always confused, but this guy explained it PERFECTLY. Gives you chances, and a great grader. A lot of quizzes every week but that truly helps you because there's only one or two questions. Outstanding professor.

There are four test if you do well on the first three you dont have to take the fourth/final!You have to be an idiot to not pass.Gives points for everything do the labs and pay attention to review and you will be fine. I am in business major. This class was so easy because he gives a study guide before each test. you have to do 4 test. if you do 3 tests pretty well, plus the lab and quizzes, you don't have to do the finals, unless you want to enhance your grade.

I am the kid who got left back, had bad grades hated school, he gives you his notes, all u do is put ur small comm. next to them to help u when u r studying
