Comment:

Poor lecturer. Organizes his ciricculum poorly, and covers very little of what is tested upon. His practice exams and quizzes he provides are exponentially easier than the material covered on exams. He is inaccessible outside of class, and drones on during class. Do not take his section if possible.

The worst professor I have had in Fisher College of Business. He uses an overhead projector to teach. Very out-dated. Had to teach myself the entire course. Exams are tough.

This guy is probably the worst teacher Ive ever had in my life. Almost impossible to follow anything in lecture and if you do he does an awful job explaining things and is very boring. Method of teaching is horrible and if you go to office hours hes unprepared sometimes which is insane. Avoid at all cost

He talks very slow. Class work, homework, and exams don't correlate with each other. He asks if anyone has questions and acts as if he explained it to a third grader 1000 times but teaches irrelevant information. Explains in details the easy topics but speeds through difficult subjects to let the students "figure it out themselves"

Lectures were hard to follow, his note-giving technology is outdated, and he's really boring to listen to. There are non-cumulative exams, homework, and attendance that make up the final grade. Exams were tough--worth about 200 points each most of the problems don't offer partial credit. The averages for exams were low but there's a big curve.

I had him for cost accounting 1 and I am currently in cost accounting 2, and both classes were absolutely horrible so if you could avoid him, please do so. He is super impatient so he never explains anything and he expects you to teach yourself. 12 cases in one semester. Will yell at you for asking questions. Absolutely a bad class and a bad prof.

12 cases a semester. The design of the class is good. But he is a really bad professor! The classes are so boring. His voice is low, jokes are not funny, and facial expressions are wired. He is not willing to help though I don't need help from him. The cases in this class help you learn a lot, but you can learn very few from the professor.

He is a good teacher, cares about student. However his class is just impossible and confusing. His logic is very hard(maybe b/c his engineering background) to follow and exams are hard. Worst grade I have ever had in OSU, don't take him if you have the choices

His style of teaching is very confusing and unorganized. He draws all theses diagrams on the board that only he can understand and the slide are no help whatsoever. You pretty much have to teach it yourself. Average on second midterm was an F and there isn't much of a curve. He makes simple concepts confusing and hates when you ask questions.

The final average was around 58% and he DID NOT curve the grade. Therefore, 30-40% of the class failed. He is a bad teacher. Will take the whole class + few extra minutes. Exams are very hard & tricky. Just study like crazy that's all I can say. Avoid him if possible. Follow the book.

Obviously he knows well about the material that he is teaching; however it does not necessary make him a good teacher. His slides are awful without a summary. He talks too much in his class and does not remind you of the main points.I did great in my other acct classes but not in this class.

He's a mean old man that is a completely useless teacher. He gives review sessions before exams but leaves early and hates when students ask questions. I walked out of the class knowing just as much as I knew when I entered. Prepare to teach yourself accounting 212.

He is DIFFERENT! Not willing to help, and very arrogant. Make sure you learn all the formulas by heart before the exams, otherwise you fail.Readind the text book helps a lot if you do not follow him.

So easy, and apparently much better than Kinard. I thought he actually could have covered the material MUCH quicker- it seemed like it took him the full hour and 48 minutes to cover a half hour of material. i got an easy a, and i just showed up to class and did the practice problems from the book. SO MUCH EASIER THAN 211.

Overall, the class wasn't too difficult, although the exams can be tricky. My biggest complaint is the fact that if you ever need help, he makes it seem like it's a burden on him to help you. Although he eventually helps, it always seemed like he never wanted to.
