BORING! You WILL have the urge to skip his LONG, DRAWN OUT class. Hard to tell exactly what to study. He says one thing, but notes and book are different. It was like he got someone elses notes for his class. Hard to understand too. The tests WILL SHOCK YOU and are TRICKY! *NICE GUY though*

He is a good professor. Knows what he is doing. I had a lot of fun taking this class. Not only did I learn a lot but now im more interested in Marketing than before. Definitely take this professor, no matter wat university he teaches at.

Dr. Gupta is a good guy. His lectures are long and boring, but very informative. His exams are based mostly on the book, so be sure to read everything and be able to apply it. Don't forget to study the notes...they will show up on exams, too. Overall, a good professor.

Harder then most classes, but you actually learn. Essay exams and pop quizzes are the tough part. But if you do the discussions and go to class youll be fine. He hints at what is going to be on the tests a lot. Very good teacher though, I would say take him if you have the time.

I took this as a distance-learning class. Lectures are very boring, I stopped attending because most of the test material is from the book. The few lecture test questions were very obvious when using common instinct. Make sure you take the quizzes and extra credit, they're easy and I great way to boost your score. Also good with curves. I got a B+.

SUPER BORING!! Very unclear on the material, very monotone in his speaking. Tests are hard, and unclear. AVOID unless he's a last resort. Does give extra credit,and open book quizes that help your grade to. DOESNT do a good job of relating the material to the class. AVOID!!!!

This is a tour de force of a survey course. You get the whole nine yards. Dr. G talks as fast as he can in order to get thru the massive amount of material in his ppts. Tests track the book + the ppts perfectly. Sometimes he over explains but just wants to make sure we got it. Lots of extra credit oppy. As knowledgable as they come.

Stab your eyes out boring. After the first week or two no one attends class anymore. Tests are a little confusing but the class is not hard. Professor has no energy or passion for the subject making it a waste of time.

3 tests and 14 quizes. The quizes are a joke and open book online. The tests are pretty hard i studying and got high c's and low b's. he gives some extra credit. I got a B+

Grade made up of 3 tests and he throws in quite a bit of extra credit. Tests can be kinda tricky.. I scored a 98%, then a 65%!! and last test scored a 76%, came out w/ a B. Study both lecture slides and book. Fully understand the concepts and you'll be fine.

This class overall wasn't too hard. Gupta's lectures are SO boring that it's hard to sit through. You can just read the book before tests and do decent. The online quizzes are really simple and he gives out extra credit points too.

Class is boring,but he teaches some good stuff to learn. Online quizes are easy, Tests are easy to Ace if you just read the book, and go over the notes. This guy is Indian (He claims Singapore, though) and can be very tiny and hard to talk to face to face. In fact, why is the whole markecting department at UCF Indian ?
