Dr. Shastry genuniely cares about his students and wants them to learn and appreciate the material rather than try to weed them out. He presents the material in an organzied manner and is always helpful in office hours. Study the practice problems and you'll do great on exams.

He is really a student's professor. His courses are an easy 'B', never gives a 'C' to any student. Courses are full of assignments, tests and projects. He will help you throughout the course.

Dr. Shastry is an amazing guy! He's not out to over-work you like some other teachers in the department, but he doesn't dumb the material down either. It's hard stuff, but his passion and helpfulness will make you succeed. I wasn't sure about RF before, but now I know this is what I want to do. My new favorite teacher. Study your 3-D Calculus!

Shastry is a great guy who really loves what he teaches. The class pace is rather slow at times. Expect to see the same formulas written several times over in different classes. His quizzes and tests are directly from the homework. Do the homework and you should do well in the class.

Always busy (sometimes hard to find time to ask questions). Test are somewhat easy, most problems are from the book. Very slow in his lectures (which could be good because all other teachers in the semester you take this class are working you OT!)

if only there were a fast forward button for his classes. the... man... talks... so... slow. they're easy classes, but impossible to stay awake in.
