Comment:
Overall easy course, but too many assignments quizzes/exams. The course is consolidated through all lectures so the prof has no control over this and its curved based on all students taking the course. He does have some helpful examples but is dry and lectureis not necessary to do well.

WOW! i should demand a refund for taking a class with this incoherent excuse for a prof! Seriously, he is the WORST professor I ever had, terrible at basically everything except tech talk with a slight slur…this guy belongs in a lab staring at regressions all day, not in the classroom! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

first of all. the material isnt too hard. but its made more difficult to the fact that he cant speak in anything that technical jargon as if he was talking to another stats proffessor. standoffish, rude to students who ask for help, no backbone (wont tell students talking in class to stfu), and marking is inconsistent. I would avoid if possible.

Ya almost completely useless for getting any help, wouldn't even answer email question unless they were 1 sentence or less answers. Classes were boring and it was hard to get anything out of them. Luckily it is easy enough to get a decent mark from self teaching and doing projects with others.

Not the greatest prof, didnt' seem too willing to help. But exams were similar to practise ones.

Notes not very helpful, in class problems help. Exams are very similar to his sample exams, assignments are brutally and same as last years.

Prem is an alright teacher, does useful examples, and his notes are fairly good. I found this class harder than it should be, but again, do the practice exams and you should do fine.

Prem's awesome! If you took the time to do the practise exams and read the notes, then it's an easy class. For assignments - they were a little harder - but you could always get help from the Lab TAs. His online notes are clear and allow for the student to not have to buy the text!

Terrible is the only word to describe this professor. Couldn't understand a word he said and he made the course content seem more difficult than it actually was. If possible avoid him and take MGTSC with another prof, you won't regret it

He made constant grinning references to eventual 'tricks' he would play on us. Seems likely he may snap any day now.

He now uses numerical examples and makes his exams pretty fair, still probably the only MGTSC course i will take, but compared to what i've heard, i prefer him over the other profs. Also, he gets irritated with dumb questions, which i like in a prof.
