Comment:

Dr. Nakra is extremely kind, but class can get kind of confusing at times. Sometimes, it feels as though youre not really sure what she is looking for in her assignments, so meet with her. She gives a few exams, one that is take home, and 3 large hw assignments u do in groups (Choose good groupmates, really important). In all, I'd take her again

Decent, she's often the only option so. She has a few tests, a big group project that is unnecessary and doesn't really teach you much. Not awful, but not good either.

Class is completely based on term project. Tests are barely in english and barely make sense. Grades are based on curve, even if you study and do everything right on your papers, she essentially gives grades in the 80s.

Not the best... does not explain anything she wants in the term paper, and if you think you know what she wants, you're probably wrong. She treats this class like a capping course. BIG term paper, quizzes, current events AND 3 exams. unfortunate that shes the only int. marketing professor. GO TO OFFICE HOURS FOR TERM PAPER

The Nak's class is relatively boring, you end up teaching yourself the material from the textbook because she just rambles on in class. If you read the book, you will do fine in this class. Also the term project is hyped up to be a big deal but it's a joke, don't take her class seriously. Easy class.

I enjoyed Dr Nakra. She is a very nice person and knows all the material inside and out. Reading the comments here, some people seem to think she wanders in presentation. Not true, she only wanders back on any subject to provide further insight. I highly recommend taking her class.

Nice Lady, willing to help if requested. Not always clear and at times all over the place. Heavy text usage although she posts PP's and uses her own separate PP's in class.Exams are a piece of cake and follows the text. A lot of reading and papers but just make sure you use the terms out of the text and you will do okay. Tough grader also.

I liked Prof. Nakra. She was very knowledgeable, a little unclear on certain things but very helpful if you go to office hours. Not that much work, group project is annoying but not hard. Honestly not as bad as some of the reviews

Prof. Nakra is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be. There can be a lot of work at times, but its really not that hard of material. The group project is annoying, but she helps in every way she can. A little unclear at times, but overall she is a very nice lady. I recommend taking her, like I said, she is not that "horrible" as everyone says.

If there is any other teacher to take for this class, take them! Nakra thinks this is a capping class and gives annoying assignments for every class, a group project thats basically another capping paper and presentation, and is extremely hard to follow and understand. My god, do not take a night class! You will attempt to gauge your eyes out.

She would not give clear guidelines for assignments, even when asked specific questions the answer was that it was not right but zero guidance on what she was actually looking for. Also does not lookout for the best interest of students, tried to reduce my grade from group project because the group scheduled meetings when I had CLASS!

I took her class online. The strategic project worth 35% of the grade had unclear goals, and grading of discussions seemed arbitrary at best. Instructions were unclear and/or riddled with typos and grammatical errors. Also seemed overreliant on Dr. Ropiecki, the TA. I was excited about this course, but am much less now. Nice lady, so-so instructor.

The book will be your best friend in her course. She is unclear when she speaks and with all her assignments. Tries to make this a capping class and she's a hard grader. All the group presentations were different because no one knew what she was looking for. i'd look for someone else to take this class with.

Boring techniques, goes hardcore by the texbook, uses overlapping terminology when speaking, uses quiz examples from teacher's guide textbook, all leading to very confused students. Tries to run races with the capping professors, acting like this is a capping class. Marketing is supposed to be fun, what happened? one section course, which sucks.

Formerly known as The Pulverizer, Doc Nak takes immeasurable strides towards perfecting the art of teaching. This former stand up comedian takes aim at students in this all out course Mkt. Capping. PREPARE TO LAUGH. The course is insightful, keen, and benevolent? Ham sandwich. Class reminds me of when I walked through the Sahara in a parka. TAKE IT
