got sick my first semester here and ended up home for 2 weeks WITH a DR's note, and when I returned and gave her the note she told me that she was failing me anyways due to my absence, regardless of the fact I had a severe pneumonia and COULDN'T BE AROUND PEOPLE. WORST teacher and person I have ever encountered in college.

Hands down the worst professor I have ever had. Arbitrary, completely unflexible, closed minded, refuses to listen to anyone's opinion but herself. If the only sections of this class open are hers, I would simply advise you to wait a semester.

Not the worst professor I have ever had, but in the top 3. For a teacher encouraging communication she does not express herself well, nor does she respond well to students. Her class is full of artificial difficulty, there is NO room for creativity with her, she only wants what she wants. A last resort only.

Her class was ridiculously demanding. I don't reccomend it, especially for commutors who do not have a lot of free time. I have honors classes that were much, much easier.

I had her back in the fall of 2010. She is a great professor. If you work hard and listen, you will do fine. She gives some lazy BSU students the kick in the butt they need to have any chance in hell of succeeding in a very competitive world. Some profs would have failed me for my non-liberal views, but she is objective and ethical.

She's very intimidating and makes you feel really stupid most of the time. She is a great teacher though. Her toughness makes you a better speaker because shes so hard to please you learn to speak in front of that such crowd. Lets us out early all the time, and goes over everythign in detail. She always answers questions and is willing to help

For a communications teacher she has THE WORST communication skills I have ever encountered. She plays favorites, grades poorly, will ONLY communicate face to face, and is very disrespectful to students. Her assignments help you in no way to learn the art of communication. I am truly in awe that she is still employed here.

Worst teacher i have ever had. I do not know how this school allows her to still teach. I dropped her class because she made me so miserable and i dreaded waking up on the days her class was held. She is RUDE and only cares about the student she likes. Made me feel like a moron every time i asked a question. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!!

At first she's sassy and comes off as mean, but you soon realize she is very clear on what she wants and explains everything extremely well. I went from disliking her very much to loving her and not wanting to leave her class. She's really a sweet woman with good intentions, I'll miss her!

Her teaching style is different and can be intrepreted as condescending and mean. She appears to mean well but too much work for a 100 level class when other prof give open book quizes. makes thinks seem harder than they are. take a different prof for comm 130!

condescending. Blatant favortites. Hardly knew my name, sat in the front row. Was so rude after I came back from an immobile sickness. 2 speeches, 1 community service. Went from a kindergarten teacher to college so talks to you in story book voices. Not that great,not that bad. She is straightforward with her syllabus, but not helpful outside class
