5 or so papers, nothing too difficult, but attendance is mandatory. Easiest class I have ever taken tbh.

She gave lots of writing. Too much work for an intro class. Take something else for your gen ed. She makes conversations about race really uncomfortable.

Prof Page is a really helpful professor and she definitely wants her students to learn. Her TAs do a lot of the grading, so if you are ever confused on an assignment, be sure to ask them! Easy A for me. Sit in the front row, pay attention, write five papers and thats it.

In this class, expect to write (in total) 4-5 papers. Homework is easy, and if you need help it's there when you ask (who are AMAZING btw). This class offers more perspective on a lot of things (theater &non-theater alike). Lectures are informational for assignments and for discussion on current issues/events. Expect to take notes and participate.

Professor Page's classes are very easy to do well in, because she prepares you well for assignments, and gives you credit for attendance. Her lectures tend to be boring to non-theater majors because we really don't care about dramaturgy, and are only taking her class because it is 2 gen-eds. There is a lot of writing, but she grades lightly.

Obnoxious, boring but easy class. Long classes you have to attend mostly including her ranting about her beliefs then writing for 15 minutes about your own opinions; figure out what your TA wants to hear and write that. Your TA is the only one who sees your work, Priscilla grades nothing. If you can BS then this class is an easy A, she eats it up.

Honestly one of the easiest classes I have taken at Umass. No tests, 3 papers about 2-3 pages long that are SO easy. One final paper that is even easier than the first 3 papers. Some in class writing assignments and mandatory attendance which is a big portion of your grade so you have to go to class. Very easy GPA booster!!!

No tests, just some sporadic in-class 15 min writings. 3 major essays, easy to get 100% if you follow the template closely. 1 semester long project that's actually pretty fun. Loved Priscilla and she turned the class into something meaningful, rather than some social justice class. Read the plays and go to class, you should get an A very easily.

No tests/class is mandatory. Professor is boring. You will have to read a play every week and write a summary on it in class. The TAs are very nice and grade leniently. You have to go to two events as well, but it felt like you needed a prior knowledge of art and theater to understand the content of these events.

Professor Page is so sweet and genuinely wants her students to succeed. As long as you do the work, go to class, and incorporate her feedback into your writing you will do well. She makes mandatory college writing fun!

added lots of work to the class. you have to read 2 whole plays every week and you have an in class writing assignment on them so you have to skim since they're not popular plays so no sparknotes. class is boring BUT she cares and wants you to learn. expect to write a lot but everything is graded easily. will get an A but will have to WRITE for it.

Easy A, only 5 Essays a semester for college writing, all 1000 words. most homeworks include revising a draft or reading a 3 page story

I wanted an intro to theatre, not a list of a bunch of famous theatre people and awards they won. Easiest AL ever (you won't need to study), but class attendance is mandatory because she gives writing assignments in class. Felt like I was back in high school because she has no control over the lecture and spent most of it trying to quiet us down.

Boring class. If you think this class will teach you about theater or acting DO NOT take it. I was extremely disappointed. Pricilla's very nice but the content was not what the class description described. Easiest Gen Ed possible.

The quizzes and project are really easy. Reading is unnecessary sense what you need to know is copied basically word for word into the notes Helpful to have the plays though since you have to cite them in papers. Have to go to class for the occasional in-class writing assignment. If confused, don't e-mail because she most likely won't respond.

Pretty easy gen ed. The lectures are pointless, although necessary since you get points for boring in class writing. She is horrible about replying to emails, definitely get an apt. in person if you need to reach her. She'll put her notes on Spark if you ask. I loved 3/4 of the plays we saw. Ask questions about them, make your essays easy to write.

Page has no idea what she's doing teaching this class. She has no control over the lecture. There is a lot of work for an intro theater class. It's kind of ridiculous. Do not take her for Theater 100. Horrible class. Horrible prof.

Boring&useless class. Quizzes extremely easy. She reviews them, just study what she tells you. Classes=bunch of guest speakers. No point of going. But once in a blue moon when Priscilla lectures, be sure to go b/c that's when she gives the 10pts class activities to reduce the time she has to talk about nothing.

Horrible...horrible class!!!! Classes are long and pointless and Pricilla feels that is necessary to constantly remind you that she is a minority and therefore deserves more respect than you. Even though it's boring, go to class becasue you only have to answer one question on the reading rather than the paper you have to do if you don't show up.
