I would defintely recommend this class to anyone. Professor Brewer is a really good teacher. She gives out daily hand outs with all the information on it, and it tells you exactly what to look for in the reading, which are good study guides for the tests, which are 12 essay questions. If you read and go to class, its super easy!!

I love this class! I have always been horrible in history and I really enjoy this one. You can tell that she loves the subject, which makes the class so much better. The lectures are interesting. There is a bit of reading involved, but she tells you exactly what points to focus on in the handouts. The essay tests are easire than expected.RECOMMENDE

She knows the material very well. Good class discussions which are very interesting. Gives handouts related to readings. A lot of reading. Tests are 12 short answer responses, but easier than expected. As long as you do the readings and pay attention in the class discussions you'll do fine.

Very enthusiastic about the subject she teaches. Interesting lectures that offer clear insight into the readings as well as new information. Gives daily handouts to help with note taking and reading focus. Short essay exams (12 questions, paragraph each), which are very easy if you pay attention and do the readings.

Great teacher! Incredibly knowledgable but does not act like a know-it-all. I dont like history but found this class to be the most enjoyable class i had this semester. She grades based on grammar but offers to check rough drafts.

Great teacher and great knowledge of the subject. Good amount of reading, but material is usually interesting. Tests are essay/short answer questions, but not too bad. Just keep up with the reading and go to class. Great class to take, and great teacher.
