I found her instructions and rubrics hard to decipher. I took her class online and she was not very present in the class. Her teaching assistant did most if not all of the grading. I think that she has the best intentions for her students but, she could benefit by making her instructions easier to understand. Examples maybe?

I have taken several classes with Dr. Lai. She has been living in America for over 25 years, and still you cannot understand a word she says. Especially when you ask her questions about research, current trends and issues in the filed of instructional design when she get agitated and goes off and talks about China. No matter what question you ask.
