If you have an alternative don't take it, the prof makes a good content miserable. While the course is all about thinking out-of-the-box, his lectures are narrow-minded. But the worst part is that there is no scope of a rational conversation. He will grade you based on what he thinks is correct and refuse to listen to an alternate viewpoint.

Please, avoid this professor, as he is not a knowledgeable person, and does not teach right. He does not know anything. Grading is really bad. He is very knowledgable in his field. He's also a very tough grader. That said, the passing mark for the midterm was 36%. Meaning it is not necessarily difficult to pass the class.

I usually dont whine and nag about hard grading, and I have had many hard marking instructors, but this teachers grading is not hard, its just outright bonkers. Even if you write the correct answers, if it does not match with the wording and angle in his head you will get wrong. Unless absolutely necessary, I recommend not to take this course.

ready to program a lot , what he teaches, covers it in his assignment and exam. His exams are not straight questions but based on the assignment and concept from slides. It not easy to score high but you may end up in average score. High grades are only to them who understand concept not just remember the points mentioned in his slide.

This guy is just bad, material looks like it'll be interesting but he just takes it to another level of bad. Teaches extremely outdated stuff, projects are the same as from 5-6 years ago and doesn't care to update his curriculum. Lectures are long and to be honest quite boring. The main issue with his teaching technique is that he don't write anything on the board and his slides are very poor. I would suggest future students to take the recording of the lectures.

Extremely outdated curriculum. He is teaching RMI and CORBA. Also does not want to agree the WebServices are used in today's distributed systems and does not want to hear anything about updating his syllabus. I ran the questions with other teachers and everyone said CORBA is ancient technology. Super boring and monotonous , lectures are a challenge

Specifically in regards to this class he teaches the best way, one could say old fashioned stance on the concept of user interface design. His teaching style is sporadic, while marking is arbitrary though use to advantage. You must attend lectures, and communicate your answers in a broad but personally unique way. Success will follow. Highest grade was an 80. A+ to D- was a 20% difference. Quizzes and Final were nightmares. They're written in the form "Question? HowWhy?" and even if you put "Answer. HowWhy: answer" and underline the howwhy explanation, you'll be seeing half your points deducted and feedback in the form of "How?Why?". Requested a re-eval and got an A.
