Do not take this class unless you are willing to suck up and say what she wants to hear. She does not know what she is talking about and marks ridiculously hard. She uses your class project for her own research purposes and penalizes you for stupid stuff. Not an enjoyable class - waste of time.

A very knowledgeable woman; although not on every sociological topic. I found her to be quite biased towards women's rights and Aboriginal issues, while excluding many other topics. Easy assignments however, and a fair marker/exam creator. Lectures can be quite dull/unorganized at times however. Overall, a decent prof, but could use some changes.

I don't believe these ratings are all accurate. She was not a bad teacher, not ****, she knows her stuff and does not expect more from you than any other prof. She is approachable, helpful, and clearly states what she wants on assignments. Class was boring, but she stuck with her outline which allowed me to attend important classes only; handy!

Great prof. Very easy to approach with questions about assignments. Assignments were easy (as long as you knew the class material) and challenging. Classes were at some points a little boring, but there's only so much that can be done with the content that has to be dealt with.

She sucks! She misleads people into thinking that class is optional. Only one test worth 10%. Then she gives out huge assignments with very little time to do them, and requires you to put in loads of class materials. I think if you have a ****, you're doomed to fail the class. Stay away!
