She is my advisor, and she is wonderful! I have been in 2 of her classes and fought to have her as my advisor. She isn't easy but if you listen and take notes you will be fine. Her tests are not mindless rote memorization you have to apply yourself. She if also lots of fun and makes me really happy!

She is a great teacher and is lots of fun. Her class demands a lot of work in order to get an A. She is really helpful and wants students to do their best. Her test weren't hard if u study but her case studys and essays were not easy b/c she is pick about them. I would take her again!

I took this class because it was required and I came out inspired. She is a demanding teacher, but she respects her students' intellect and will work had with you if you're willing to put in the effort. (Obviously, the whiners that posted earlier comments are not willing to do grad level work!)

Her tests were hard, and she was not interested in hearing about the class's difficulty. I would definetly not recommend taking her. Education is not supposed to be tricky. I knew all of the information, but I could never get a good enough grade for me on her tests.

contradictory instructions all the time; she must be better as an undergrad prof, bc she leaves a bit to be desired at the graduate level, where class meets once a week. grrr.

She is a very fun teacher, we were constantly laughing in her class. She will do anything to help you out. Her tests are not the easiest though. But as long as you study and are willing to do a little work then i would take her class. She is great!

She is a wonderful teacher; definitely has a passion for the teaching field. i enjoyed her class; she makes learning about development fun. however, her tests are not that easy. you really have to pay attention in class. she is extremely nice & helpful.

Dr. Collopy would be a better elementary teacher than a college professor. However, if you study for her tests and do the work, you'll get a decent grade. She drops the lowest test, so you can skip the final if you already have the grade you want!
