Easily sidetracked and doesn't talk about english much. But she is a very nice lady, with a lot of random information she wants to share. No homework, no textbook. Only write 4 papers, and she does help a lot with revisions. An easy A. And you'll learn a lot of random information. One of my favorite classes ever.

pretty sure she has alzheimers. didn't realize she sent us on break one class and offered to send us again. One Friday she didnt show--it had been 15 mins, so we were allowed to leave. On our way out we saw her making her way towards her office (!). Her assignments are vague and she doesn't collect them when she says she will.

Dr. Matheis never distributed a syllabus, teaches life/personal lessons rather than English, and seems to focus on things she has an interest for, rather than what the class calls for. She is a kind woman, but creates an incoherent and unpredictable course that barely focuses on the English language.

Disorganized to the extreme (lost one of my papers twice!), makes no sense, never gives a firm answer about things like due dates, treats students like elementary school kids, inspires absolutely no enthusiasm, acts like a know-it-all, etc. You might get a good grade because she has no standards, but she is so frustrating that it is not worth it.
