I took an incomplete for his 5000 French History class. In lieu of the final exam and paper, he asked me to write a 30 pager about a subject of my own choosing, and then gave me 6 MONTHS to turn it in. I got an A. He's very kind and helpful and I highly recommend him.

Comment:

Best teacher I've ever had. Was clear-cut in expectations. Made material interesting and was helpful. Very reasonable in his teaching and approachable. Wanted to help all students learn. Only a few grades in the class. Funny guy who made you want to go to class. It's a shame it looks like he is leaving- AU is losing an awesome teacher.

Great teacher! Extremely clear about what he wants and what will be on the test. I don't know what this person is talking about saying he isn't approachable because he is entirely. He answered many of my questions. Don't piss the GTAs off though because they're kinda mean. Go to class and study the night before. Easy A if you try!

The class isn't hard, but he is a mean man. He is very unapproachable and has a bad attitude when you talk with him one on one, in a group he is nice. His lectures can be confusing because he has a tendency to go out of sequence, which can be confusing when you start to study for test. Overall take notes, make friends w/ GTA's and get U-Notes!

VERY GOOD PROF! he lectures are interesting and he tries to make the class fun. YOu listen to music sometimes in this class and he puts a question on the test about it! very helpful. his GTA that takes role is mean so stay away from her! he takes role but it doesn't hurt your grade!!

I started going to this class in the beginning of the semester but stopped after the mid-term after i realized all i needed to do was buy U-notes and could make a solid B. Take blaufarb if you don't like going to class because you will still pass. Final was a little harder than expected.

I really enjoyed having Blaufarb as a teacher. His tests for this class consisted of around 10 identification and an essay. He was an easy grader. I didn't read any of the books and made A's on his tests. As long as you go to class and take notes you should be fine. This class consisted of 3 tests and a 10 page paper as the final.

he is great and awesome. he lectures are really interesting and he is so funny. his tests are pretty easy as long as you take notes and show up for class (a couple textbook questions and map..but not alot!). he is kinda cute too! haha. i would recommend taking his class anyday!

Professor Blaufarb is the best professor at Auburn University! Just take good notes, i mean write every word he says, and the class will be a extremely easy. I learned a lot in his class and he is a very nice man and very funny! Love him and the class!
